I can't help to wonder on how something that small works, does it use a computer chip or a motor?
What do you mean by computer chip? Of course it uses a motor to move.
What do you mean by computer chip? Of course it uses a motor to move.
Sorry I didn't know motors that small existed. I don't know why anybody would want anything that small, anything that small would get destroyed in my house because of how many pets we have. I have enough problems protecting my HO and N scale sets(I don't have the room or money for a layout), I can't imagine what it would be like with anything smaller.
I think I'll be sticking with HO and N scale.

That just leaves the pet and money problem. The big problem being the cats as in case here:

We call that little shit "Demon" for a reason. He also attacks by HO sets when I have them out...which is something none of the other pets do because they're all afraid of it while the other cats watch but keep their distance. I put the N scale on the coffee table because it's the only real place I have to put it.

Doesn't seem that practical. Looks cool I guess.
how is that impractical? it makes vital driving information easier to access and more visible, while offering, so far as i can tell, no downside.

You need to realize how much of a pain in the ass it is to try and see the light from behind a massive tractor-trailer while you're in a little sedan.
It'll also look nice during Christmas time.

Exactly how is waiting for whatever obstructs your line of sight to move is bad? If it's red, you both stay still, if its green, they move, then you move, it's not that hard lmao

The customer then took the punched out tape to the cashier for processing. The cashier would insert the tape into a reading mechanism that would electronically read it. That set off electrical and electronic circuits which started the goods sliding down conveyor belts and did the cost tallying in the process.
The key-activated mechanism was not completely automated, however. Their groceries were hidden behind stockroom walls and refrigeration units. Stock personnel had put their selected items onto conveyor belts physically that in turn moved to the cashier for check out. A mechanism added up the tally for the customer's total bill. The shoppers picked up their groceries all wrapped up or boxed accordingly when they paid.

Three Keedoozle stores total were built. The first Keedoozle store was opened in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 15, 1937, by the Keedoozle Corporation. This first store closed after a few months because the mechanical technology was not capable of handling the high traffic loads. This store reopened in 1939 in the same location but failed again for the same reason.
The third store built in 1948 was at the corner of Poplar and Union Extended in Memphis. It was open for a little over a year and also failed for the same reason as the first two attempts.

I don't get it?
How so? It's not just the signals that changes color.
I don't get it?
Sometimes if you park too close to the lights or you're parked behind a large vehicle you can't properly see the lights without having to shove your head out the car or get into an awkward position, which is bad for obvious reasons.
With these lights the entire pole changes colour so drivers can see it easier. Although usually you can just look at the lights on the other side of the junction changing or look for it in reflections, but this works too.

At least there's job security? :v:
Hell, I'd do it.
It's actually a pretty cool job. You get to be outdoors all day. Literally.

Who would want to be outdoors all day long in the middle of a desert even if it's fairly high up?
