[t]http://i.imgur.com/WNuzo8c.jpg[/t] I caught this skink in my backyard today while mowing at my new house. I am in west Texas and didn't know we had skinks here.

My cherry tomatoes are beginning to ripen, here are the first batch to turn red [t]http://i.imgur.com/y0TtyxC.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/htMJ2tM.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/OcTsV5z.jpg[/t] Later on in the weekend, I checked out my garden at my fiance's house (whom has a much, much bigger yard than I) We got some corn growing super well. I counted that we'll have 40-50 ears by time they're ready [t]http://i.imgur.com/iUV3BU8.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/03CQkYU.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ZEUYI3p.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/1haj8kG.jpg?1[/t] Also an update on her strawberries: [t]http://i.imgur.com/5WfLgjx.jpg[/t] The neat thing about the strawberry plant on the left of this picture is that we didn't plant it. It's a baby growing from one of the mother plants we planted in March [t]http://i.imgur.com/aCO9XSH.jpg[/t] Her yard is littered with wild spearmint plants [t]http://i.imgur.com/T12Gmza.jpg[/t] Sunflowers we planted are about a foot and a half tall now [t]http://i.imgur.com/SyeoaOc.jpg[/t] I neglected to get a picture of her lettuce before she harvested it, but here's what she managed to cut this weekend: [t]http://i.imgur.com/kI2XCnW.jpg[/t]
i heard diluted piss can help tomatoes grow nice and ripe just something to keep in mind scorp
I don't mean any offense, but your gardening pictures don't belong here IMO. They are not interesting, they are pictures of basic plants. I'm sure there's a place for you to share your gardening story here on FP, but this isn't the thread for that.

If this is the case then I will stop. It's not an issue.
I don't think it's that big of a deal. If auxiliary pics was more active and there were lots of people posting nothing but their victory gardens I might suggest taking it somewhere else but I think it's fine here once in a while. Maybe try formatting the pictures differently so the posts are not as long? You can put 2 or 3 thumbnails in a row to reduce stretching.
The effects of various anti-tank rounds: [vid]https://i.imgur.com/nulA3ly.mp4[/vid] in order:
High Explosive not generally effective in terms of penetrating armor but a direct hit can easily disable a tank. High Explosive Squash Head a plastic explosive warhead squashes against the armor plate and blows a scab of armor off the inside. Not effective against modern tanks because of the use of spaced armor. Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot very high velocity darts made of dense metal that penetrate armor by virtue of their enormous kinetic energy. High Explosive Anti-Tank a conical warhead focuses a thin metal liner that is accelerated to extremely high velocity, in the order of tens of kilometers per second, punching through the armor.

I have asked numerous times before if people still wanted to see them, only to get agrees. If this is the case then I will stop. It's not an issue.
Considering SEKCobra whines about everything basically everywhere I see him post I'd just ignore him. You could do with formatting your posts a bit better (the groups of images between words would be better on a single line for example) but it's not exactly difficult to scroll past them if we're not interested. And this is coming from someone who doesn't find them particularly interesting to begin with.
Let's not turn this into a thread where everyone is bitter and hateful toward each other.

He says everyone else, including the other German POWs, were trying not to laugh. :v: The story about the German goes that his name was Jakob Nacken and he immigrated to the US after the war, becoming a broadway performer and touring with Ripley's Believe it or Not, but citations for that are pretty limited and I don't know if it's true or not.
