Considering the fact that Autism is more than just a chemical imbalance or a single region of the brain that is malformed, it's likely the only way Autism will be corrected is by preventing the defect in the first place via genetic modification or selective birthing. Fixing an already autistic child late in development would border on rebuilding the brain itself.
