I really liked 1, 2 and 3, and hardly remember 5 or 6. Need to watch them again. Why do a lot of people hate the newer ones?
Midichlorians.
4-5-6 Watch 1, 2 and 3 as if they're seperate movies about some other scifi universe, and they're somewhat ok.

2-5-4-6-3-1 obviously
I'd watch them 1,2,3,4,5,6. The prequels arn't terrible. But if you watch them in production order you're going to end it all with the 3rd one. And thats just going to be unsettling.
4,5,6 If you are even going to watch 1,2,3 then you should watch 4,5,6 first (if you don't already know that Vader is Luke's father).
If you haven't seen them before, then 4,5,6,1,2,3. If you have seen them, then either way is good. or if you are really cool 2,5,1,6,4,3
4,5,6 and deny existence of anything else.
I personally like the prequels as well as the original trilogy. I don't really understand why everybody hates them.
1 was terrible, 2 was decent and 3 was pretty good.
So long as you watch the whole damn franchise! Which basically includes the 2008's The Clone Wars too.
You know, if Hayden Christiansen hadn't played Anakin, I think people wouldn't have hated on the prequels so much. Never before has one actor been able to encompass the entire spectrum of "whiny bitch" without trying.
2 5 4 1 3 6

1-6. No point skipping the prequels, that's like reading a book but starting it half way through.
1, 4, 5, 6.
Yeah, I guess if you've never seen Star Wars before then you really are better off watching it in order. Out of all of the prequels though, I probably enjoyed Episode 3 the most. Episode 1 was just very barely tolerable(fucking Jar Jar and midichlorians) while Episode 2 was... pretty much the same way actually. Annoying and extremely angsty Anakin coupled with the worst "romance" story I have ever seen. The Clone Wars part of the movie just barely made it worth it.
In order. Quality picks up in the 4th one.
Watch 4,5,6 - Skip 1,2,3.
I like to watch them in numerical order and pretend that George Lucas got better as a director :saddowns:
1 2 3 4 5 6 I like them all. 1, 2, and 3 are guilty pleasures.

4,5,1,2,3,6 This way the prequels serve as a flash back after luke confronts vader in the 5th, then you can watch the 6th wrapping it up nicely.
Episode 2 was the worst in the series.
doesn't really matter what order i watch them in, i still love star wars all the same.
4 5 6 1 2 3 because you can always quit half way.
Episode 2 was the worst in the series.
Episodes 2 and 3 were worse than episode 1 due to the atrocious acting by whoever played anakin.
Episode 2 was the worst in the series.
I'd rather watch the Christmas one than Episode 2 again.
I liked Episode 3. It was decent. Like If I had to order them, it would be in the top 4. See the prequels should have been huge bombastic OTT action that just got on with things. Grevious was a great character, Obi Wan was brilliant, the clones did something interesting and it was moving. I wish Episode 3 was Episode 1 and Episode 2 and 3 were more about the Empires rise to power.
