Funny how there's also a point and click adventure mystery game about Pompei. I played it a long time ago and I can't really remember anything since it was a localized Russian version.
Wow, they'd make a game about anything. I bet somewhere someone's made a game about the Irish Potato Famine.
'I bought the ticket. I'll do what I want.' I had to pause it I was laughing so much.
-Late, didn't notice-
Between this and the end of his Monster Party review I think it's pretty clear that Jon is a big Meat Loaf fan
I think I'm really starting to like JonTron.
Someone who knows how to should make 7:47 to 7:57 into a gif.
I tried: [t]http://i.minus.com/iyTW3ilFDSvqD.gif[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/ib2qCt6IIFEDGm.gif[/t] 10 seconds of video makes a quite large gif, so I couldn't do the whole sequence.

Titen out of tenic.
That may be possible now, but I don't think making a NES game in 1997 about Titanic can work.
idk, I think a point-and-click adventure structure or even Visual Novel structure could've worked. Anything but a sidescroll brawler.
"Mediocre sales" was that a fucking boat pun
The BOOZIEST of beat-em-ups!
giantbomb also played the monster of a game that was shown in the beginning.
I actually own the first fucking game. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ejQDDU7.jpg[/t] I remember playing it at my grandparents house when I was like 7 years old on one of those really old Macintosh's.
Liked the Adventure out of Time shoutout. For those curious, it's an adventure point 'n click about being a British spy doing things that will somehow prevent both World Wars and the rise of Soviet Russia and make things all better. Remarkable stuff, that, though you're on a time limit until the boat sinks, so I never tried. Did buy a copy for the game's tour mode, though. Their virtual Titanic is pretty freakin' accurate to the blueprints, with various inaccessible rooms being the only real downside.
I can't get over the Meatloaf part.

I vaguely remember beating it but I'm pretty sure you get to shoot some Russian guy toward the end during a fight on one of the smoke towers.. Or maybe you get shot yourself.. I really can't remember.

Also these knockoffs reminded me. There was a movie knockoff, but instead of a sinking ship, it was a burning Zeppelin. [t]http://www.impdb.org/images/d/db/Hindenburg_2011_poster.jpg[/t] [editline]17th July 2014[/editline] oh, and that movie was released 13 years after Titanic released! in 2011
This spooky fucker?
Fuck yeah! That was the guy.
Also, since nobody's posted it yet: We've finally come full circle (in a sense)
man jontron's a good singer
True that. If YouTube ever goes tits up, he could probably find work on Broadway, even if it's just a one-man show about him and his birds.

After watching his videos with speakers in the middle of the night I think I'm now a qualified sound mixer.
I wonder if he misses being on Game Grumps.
Didn't he say some months back on a stream that he missed it?
"That's like making a game about Pompeii!"
Dunno how to tell Jon this but Darkest of Days already kinda did that. :v: [img_thumb]http://www.totallygn.com/wp-content/gallery/darkest-of-days/pompeii05.jpg[/img_thumb]
giantbomb also played the monster of a game that was shown in the beginning.
I still have my copy of that. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I fucking love that still.
i just think that jontron's singing portion of the video, when compared to other youtubers that have similar funnygamereviewskit channels, is a testament to how much better and refined he is

That first game he showed, the point and click adventure one was actually really cool. I had it on a disk like 15 years ago but I'm not sure where it ever went. It was interesting because it was sort of non linear. Certain events would happen differently depending on how fast you completed the challenges. For example, you find out both you and the antagonists(German spies I think) are trying to steal a valuable painting stored in the cargo hold and if you don't find the cargo hold fast enough, they'll steal it first and the story will change based on it. It also really meticulously recreated the architecture of the Titanic. It wasn't 3d but the entire ship is in the game.
