Him1411 and UberNoob, how do you guys want to do this?
I live in Canada but I like almost the entire country away from Kabstrac. I'm in Ontario.
Any one living in Spain? Near Gibraltar by any chance? :c
Him1411 and UberNoob, how do you guys want to do this?
could do 1/3 of the film each?
Wait slip you've got a canon AE-1P right? For the film I could shoot half a roll on mine, wind it back up not entirely (in darkness so that way a bit of film sticks out), then you just take a 1/1000th picture in complete darkness for the first 12 shots, then we've each got half a roll but still have control over stuff. Since they have the same winding mechanisms we shouldn't lose any frames. I've traded rolls between my AE-1P and 9xi before, it worked rather well. Would you rather do this?
Yes, I have an AE-1p, however, I still want to do the disposable. It seems a lot more challenging, and I want to see what badass pictures we can take out of using such a crappy little camera. However, if it's more cost efficient for you, then we can do the AE-1p thing. Also, instead of shooting in total darkness, wouldn't it be easier just to put the lens cap on, and cover the viewfinder? :o ALSO, this thread is beginning to confuse me? Who's being paired together and who needs someone to pair with?
I don't have a scanner, unless scanning the photo works? Or do you guys who use film have an actual scanner for film?
A disposable camera has film inside of it. Once you finish your disposable camera, you take it to your nearest photolab, and they'll develop it for you. Is there no photolabs near you? :x Edit: When I get back from eating, I'm going to draw a comic as to how this is supposed to work. I feel some people are missing the main-idea.
I can afford the disposable still, I was just seeing what you thought. And yeah the cap trick would work too :P

But what i'm trying to ask is how we'll be able to show the photos online after it's developed. Can photo labs put photos on a CD or something? I feel dumb, lol.

Just wanna take some pics, and collaborate on a film roll with somebody. Whichever you'd rather do, just let me know.
Him1411 and UberNoob, how do you guys want to do this?
some sort of threesome, i suppose maybe just wait till another UK person joins
Me and my co-worker are doing this. Hes taken photography classes in collage, but hasn't pursued it any farther. I cannot wait to see the outcome.
fa sho, El Paso, TX here. WE CAN DO A DESERT THEME :'D

desert and forest because i go back to school in the forest soon ;( but i will try and get desert pictures as much as i can as i like it better. i assume i go first? i'll find a camera and a notebook, i'll try and get a good disposable haha

desert to forest? that'd make for a fun contrast on your set. also, you can grab the disposable if you want. i wouldn't focus on the quality of them so much, this is just a fun little project. however, if you're trying to shop for quality, i remembered these:
just had a thought: instead of doing desert -> forest -> desert on our roll, you could do all forest, and then it'll shift over to desert on my side of the roll. however, that's if you haven't already started; it's just an idea.
some sort of threesome, i suppose maybe just wait till another UK person joins
I'd be happy to be sent a camera and be told how many shots I have, as in the 2nd of 3. Also I think that the first shot you take should be some kind of self portrait maybe?
I'm in. Northern Germany (almost Denmark) and Eastern Germany around Leipzig

alright sound:) who's going first?

I'm also in. I'm in The Netherlands (province of Zuid Holland to be precise). AFAIK there are just 2 other Dutch members in this part of the forum (DoubleDD and Raygen are the only Dutch persons I know off). So if one of them isn't in I could participate with someone in the UK or Germany. Postage isn't even that expensive abroad for me, so it's no problem for me to do. Anyone up for doing this with me?
Got my camera today! A Fuji super flash with 800 film, can't wait to start shooting

I'm a british person I'll do it. North east England.
Sounds fun, Switzerland anyone?
Anyone else interested in this? People still need partners.
I got one picture taken, 12 to go. I've taken it with me mostly everywhere.
Toronto, ON Canada. I am interested, as long as I find a place where they still develop disposable cameras. I'll try to get things together.
as long as I find a place where they still develop disposable cameras
they've just got standard 135 c-41 film in them, if it comes to it you can just break the thing open
ohfoofy, I make monthly trips to Eau Claire from Chicagoland during the school year, could even pick up the camera and avoid postage even though it may be cheap as it is [t]http://i.imgur.com/3Y5toY1.png[/t] let's do this also I've got the V500 scanner so I could probably get the film done better than at walgreens
I'm in! I can go pick up a camera and small notebook tomorrow and I can get started shooting my half!
think you could get your shots done by Feb 3rd? I'll be up north that weekend
think you could get your shots done by Feb 3rd? I'll be up north that weekend
Should be doable. May not be as much thought put into some of them, but it's all in good fun!
