Does the FBI operate internationally?
A quick visit from the CIA then.
Does the FBI operate internationally?
they do in some cases, like the time someone made a death threat about Obama on FP and Garry got a call from the FBI not long after. EDIT: Nevermind it was the Secret Service https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1290835
"How do you choose between shitting and people's Lawn or pissing on their carpet?....hahahaha Joke Lol!"
can we pool money to hire an assassin? Seriously I would not feel bad for his death (User was banned for this post ("Advocating Murder" - Mezzokoko))
really, you're suddenly driven to murder by the repeal of net neutrality? not like, the Burmese genocide or the working conditions in Foxconn or the neo-Nazi movement or anything like that? it's almost as if jumping straight to assassination just gives ammunition for people like Ajit Pai to paint us all as a bunch of alarmist fucking babies
How is this legal?
Money greases a lot of people's hands.
Surprised that Trump's okay with the net neutrality repeal tbh. You'd think that having to pay even a cent for his Twitter would result in him going nuclear.
Surprised that Trump's okay with the net neutrality repeal tbh. You'd think that having to pay even a cent for his Twitter would result in him going nuclear.
Probably because Trump either doesn't fully understand the repercussions or he fully understands but it ends up working in his favor.
Why the sudden surge of death threat for this particular guy when Trump & co did worse things and didn't receive nearly as much?
Why the sudden surge of death threat for this particular guy when Trump & co did worse things and didn't receive nearly as much?
Probably because the US Secret Service doesn't care about protecting this shit stain, only the President.
Why the sudden surge of death threat for this particular guy when Trump & co did worse things and didn't receive nearly as much?
Most likely cause Ajit Pai's plans pose a risk that threatens our ability to criticize Trump or anyone under his umbrella
Why the sudden surge of death threat for this particular guy when Trump & co did worse things and didn't receive nearly as much?
cause you don't fuck with peoples porn
the joke is not about him being corrupt, the joke is on the people that think hes corrupt i hate this guy too, but lets recognize that his joke was satire not some admission of guilt or something
the joke is not about him being corrupt, the joke is on the people that think hes corrupt i hate this guy too, but lets recognize that his joke was satire not some admission of guilt or something
No He is corrupt. He is an ex verizon lawyer and lobbyist you're just flatly ignorant on this issue and should learn before speaking.
when do we eat the rich?
the joke is not about him being corrupt, the joke is on the people that think hes corrupt i hate this guy too, but lets recognize that his joke was satire not some admission of guilt or something
He's not repealing Net Neutrality for the good of the people. Shit Pie is doing it to line his pockets with money. I'm pretty sure that's corruption.
I don't think Flameon is actually saying he isn't corrupt. He's saying that from Ajit Pai's perspective, the joke is on the people accusing him of corruption, rather than on any actual corruption. Therefore it isn't an admission of guilt. In Ajit's mind, this is supposed to be seen as the equivalent of Obama showing the Lion King intro and saying it's his birth video.

This is straight up corruption. He even knows it.
My understanding was that with things like "it will take 14 years to incubate" and "We need to find a Republican who can win the presidency in 2016 to appoint you FCC chairman", the audience is supposed to think it's funny because it's implied to be too absurd to have been planned. I agree, though, he absolutely is a puppet, I'm just not sure he's actually admitting it. On the other hand, it is being presented privately to people who are presumably aware of the truth... In that context, I suppose you're right. [editline]16th December 2017[/editline] And there's no way they recorded that video in 2003.

They've been planning this for 15 fucking years.
Surprised that Trump's okay with the net neutrality repeal tbh. You'd think that having to pay even a cent for his Twitter would result in him going nuclear.
Liberals are the most outspoken supporters of Net Neutrality, and in his caveman brain, "Liberals = bad; [Something that other conservatives support or makes Liberals mad] = Good" I wish this was just a hyperbolic shitpost, but look at the past actions of Trump (such as supporting Roy Moore just because he wasn't a liberal.)
I'm impressed how far can a guy dig a hole before it finally fills up with lava. Anyway good luck getting rid of him when he might as well just be Trump's right hand man.
It was made in either 2003 or 2002. They've been planning this for 15 fucking years.
You're actually claiming the video he shows at the 'telecom prom' was made in 2003? The one where they say "I think your best bet is an outsider, but I have no idea who (the Republican that will win the 2016 election and make you FCC Chairman) that could be?" and then a video clip of Donald Trump shows up in the background and music starts playing? You're saying they were confident enough in predicting that Trump would become president in 2016, in 2003, to make a video they would only use 14 years later? That's honestly absurd, and even the article you linked calls it 'a satirical video that showed him planning his ascension to the FCC chairmanship with a Verizon executive in 2003'. What purpose would they have had for recording this obviously acted conversation in 2003?

What purpose would they have had for recording this obviously acted conversation in 2003?
I mean, BTTF 2 played around with the idea of 'hah, people are dumb enough that they would elect Trump wouldn't they'. That movie came out in 1989. Trump has talked for a long time about being the President as well. It's not exactly something that would come 'clear out of the blue'. For crying out loud, he stated that 'he wanted to run for President' back in 1988 -- and then ran for President in 2000. (Granted, the party only existed for a short time because effectively nobody supported them or his message) That's a 12 year gap - which if applied to 2003 [when this video was likely made] as an 'if it took Trump that long to decide to run for President, surely he'll be President after that long again' based logic would put the closest presidential election year to that date as... 2016. e: He also considered running in 2012, lest we forget. You'd never guess who was in charge of the Reform Party, to which Trump attached himself while he called his opponent 'Hitler' effectively, either: Roger Stone!
Hm, I suppose Simpsons did it too in 2000. But at least those instances still worked even without it coming true, or didn't come to be. This video, however, you're claiming was made in 2003, and had literally no other purpose than to be shown at telecom prom 2017? If Trump hadn't been elected in 2016, or hadn't appointed Ajit Pai as FCC chairman, that video would immediately become useless, and they'd have stored this short stupid video for 14 years for nothing. That just doesn't seem plausible to me, I just can't see what purpose the video serves that they would go through that much trouble for. I mean, the actual plan isn't unbelievable, but why film a conversation about it?

And now they're reusing it as 'marketing materials'. There's many ways such a video could've come into existence and even if 'they were a little off' they could just laugh about 'Trump always being a little late' or 'Trump decided to come a little early' to the date they predicted. They nonetheless made the video and they made it so that they could say 'hah! we called it!'
They nonetheless made the video and they made it so that they could say 'hah! we called it!'
But they didn't do that, Ajit doesn't present the video as a prediction that came true, and the video wasn't meant to be seen by anyone other than the telecom executives. Seeing as the clip is obviously acted, I'm just going to say that filming it in 2017 after the events transpired is clearly the simplest explanation for the incredible accuracy. I guess we can't prove it either way with the information we have, though.
