Right next to where they shoot them off, I'm lucky! [thumb]http://static.redcityreloaded.com/files/1/public/DSCN0653.JPG[/thumb][thumb]http://static.redcityreloaded.com/files/1/public/DSCN0622.JPG[/thumb]
So many fucking fireworks everywhere yet no view. And it's so goddamn loud too. Pretty boring 4th of july.
So I got to watch the fireworks and Billy Ray from the stage. It was pretty kickass. I managed to get a crew pass with someone else, and we got to stand with the equipment and watch. Not a bad way to go.
this is illegal you know
Nope, last election our city decided to legalize fireworks. Democracy, fuck yeah.
Uploaded both videos. OK, it's at 11:45 Enjoy.
It was nice. there was a big dust storm, but it was moving really slowly, so the dust kinda settled in the air and when the fireworks went off they lit up all the dust. dust storms + fireworks = awesome
All we can get legally in California are glorified poppers, luckily I always have neighbors who get some from Nevada.
My Neighbor lit off a Cheese Wheel.. :(
Was a great 4th of July, got to listen to the Symphony Orchestra in my area and watch the fireworks. Didn't get any fireworks of my own though.
-snip-
Should have posted this earlier, but my neighbors across the street set of a firework... after a few seconds it lit a nearby shrub on fire. The woman looking at it was repeating "Fucking fireworks!" over and over again with screams in between. The father and son were productive... the little boy threw the bag of marshmelows at it, and the father was throwing alcoholic drinks on it in spazzmatic attempts to put it out... Eventually, one of the people there who I didn't know found a hose and put it out. Hooray for him! I was ready to call the police because the husband could have accidentally created a molotov cocktail or something. Just thought it would be kinda funny to share.
We lit off 2,000 firecrackers all at once..man it was loud and LONG.
Sat in the cold for about 2 hours by the shore in San Francisco. The fireworks show was pretty good, but I don't know if it was worth it.
Went to my girlfriends house today, we went outside at around 10:30 and the area outside her apartment literally sounded like a warzone this 4th was amazing in every way
My best friends parents bought $2000 worth of fireworks, fireworks lasted 3 hours, it was awesome and got to spend an evening with a great friend

I don't know what the FUCK happened, but I don't remember shit on 4th of July other than fireworks and getting drunk. I wake up to this picture in the middle of my desktop: what

my uncle is a lanky british bird man and we all poked fun at him all night and i of course swam out to the middle of a lake where we were watching 7 different houses firing off fireworks, screamed "america" "explosions" "war" "guns" and "jersey shore"
