dude, you may have just prevented another Columbine. kudos.
yeah two schools with the same name would be confusing as hell
This would've made a good horror movie.
I mean if you didn't get him to a hospital and all.
You should have armed him and dropped him of somewhere. Then watch the show.
I know,i know i am a bastard.
Wait a minute, your friend isn't crazy,he is just very good at trolling.
Think of it this way, you might feel like crap about what you did now but imagine how you'd feel if you were like "Psh he won't do shit" and just left it and he actually did hurt someone
I agree but even then how was he supposed to know his friend was as mentally unstable as he was when showing him the video?
When is it ever a good idea to show someone that video?
Other than that I think the OP did the right thing, he was making threats and he needs help. It's better than not doing anything and then feeling guilty if he then went and actually hurt someone.
I have a friend who is clinically insane, yet due to pills and such is able to lead a normal life. I just hope he doesn't stop and force me to do something like this.
Clear your conscience my child, you have made the right decision.
If he turns out to have literal mental problems, there's nothing you can do OP. It's a physical/chemical anomaly in the brain causing it and sending him somewhere with licensed professionals trained in how to treat it will do a lot more than whatever you could of done.
You bit the bullet before it killed someone, good on you, he now has a chance to be rehabilitated and released back into the world, rather than sitting in a prison for the rest of his life.
The fact that you are more concerned with his well-being than your friendship (Because you are worried he'll hate you) shows that at heart, you are looking out for what's best for him, which is what a true friend does.
A friend will help you. A true friend will help you, even if you don't want it.
