That's kinda how games industry works. If paying a little makes your game easier and more enjoyable, a number of people rather pay. The bigger the playerbase is, even a few percent of them paying might be enough to keep the company running. It's called microtransactions.

But I am complaining how many games they have and how indifferent and repetitive they are, not have a discussion about why they do have so many and how the system works.. First Person Shooters also seem to have similar game-play, yet have different atmospheres which make them individual. :)

I undertstand what your saying. When I searched for free MMO's and such, they always had that cute friendly look. You have to realize that kind of shit is liked by many. I guess all we can do is just deal with it. I stopped playing games like that and went with more real looking games such as "Age of Conan". You do have to pay a monthly fee, but this is probably the only way to get away from it.

starcraft is the best mmo ever
despite liking anime ad being Asian myself, I voted for the 1st option. Vidya games and anime doesn't mix well. (other than a few such as Touhou)
