What's the difference between computer information systems, computer science, and software engineering as majors?
You should look into the Temple of Hip Hop.
A lot of bad advices here. Just have a glance at the top companies by revenue, and tell me, wich of their employees are paid the most? The engineers? The computer techies?I'll leave this up to you. You should do some thorough research before deciding. You can have a hobby(painting, philosophy, etc) and at the same time have a job in a different field. It actually enrichens your life, having alot of interests. Even hitler admited it in his mein kamfs In the end it all depends on what you want in life, most of the people go for the safe net:work untill the age of retirement(60 or so)But take a little risk and you might hit the jackpots. I would go for quick money, retire before age of 30, invest as mad and as smart as you can(including investing in your interests). Learn about trade, commerce, economics, money, banks, stuff like that. It's what turns the world around. Keep in mind, the guys with the capital have all the other guys(ex computer programmers) doing alot of work(for a fixed annual salary, and some bonuses if they are really good) whilst making thousands or millions in proffits by actually selling the products. And given that the employer has signed a contract wich says he's fine with the safe wage instead of the high risk high payoff strategy, he has no right to contest the patron's proffits. Listen, little man, you need to want to learn for the rest of your life. If you don't, after you get your university degree the people who pay you won't want you to learn, but to work. One last advice: don't fool yourself that you're not after the money. You will chase it untill your financial future is secure, and the sooner the better. Learn how to make it happen for you. Think about yourself, stay hungry. That's how the world works now, it has prooven to be the most productive sistem, and it's all based on greed. VOC 4 ever Oh, and if you want to study at university, you should consider universities in europe. they're cheap as hell, you can get loans from banks(but you can delay the payments even 5 years AFTER you've completed university). It's really cool. And with the forever rising inflation(thanks to the fiat money), the money you borrow this year will buy 5 times less stuff in 2023! I would recommend the netherlands-belgium-denmark-west germany-southern germany-switzerland-austria-northern italy, coastal spain, scotland, some cities in france, malta, cyprus, greece and the northern countries. Universities in those countries have english courses, and most of the population speaks english, especially the young. Countries like germany are encouraging foreign students to study there, they have an aging population and need an influx of young and smart people. The government will aid the students, and the prices are really cheap in germany(excluding munich and some other metropoles)
If your so good at all this stuff why do you actually need to go get a degree? Can your portfolio not carry you into the profession? Looks like your dick waving from here.
It looks to me like he was just looking for an outside oppinion. Therefore, your dickheaded post is extremely uncalled for.
Get a Ph.D in Mathematics. You can get any job you want with a starting wage of $300k.
Hahahaha. (No.)
I would recommend going to a state school. Take advantage of the subsidized tuition that your state has to offer. Never attend a for-profit school, and only attend a private school if you can guarantee that the post-school salary will make up for it.
