I don't need to. So if it was oil, doesn't change the fact that one guy who is probably not telling us the entire story =\= discovery of a cure.
i would kinda have to agree ( i also didnt watch the video) but i dont think weed can cure cancer, maybe it can and hopefully we can figure it out [editline]05:49PM[/editline]
How is this thread even still going? Wow, this is fucking retarded. Dragon banned me for "conspiracy" but doesn't ban the OP of this thread? Wow
well people get banned from fp all the time for dumb reasons, also what kind of conspiracy was it
He's just one statistical point of evidence that supports my claim. As referenced in the video, he isn't the first man to do this and achieve this result either. This wasn't some fluke coincidence his cancer was entirely healed over the course of his usage of cannabis oil as a focal cream.
So find a study on it. Even assuming he's right, which he almost certainly isn't, one anecdote (or two or three or four) is not compelling evidence of anything, let alone a basis for making batshit claims like "marijuana cures cancer."
Welcome back. Yeah I thought that was pretty unfair too.. especially with Firerain having just comeback and making those threads around the same time I saw it pretty unjust that you should be banned for your thread but not him.
How is this thread even still going? Wow, this is fucking retarded. Dragon banned me for "conspiracy" but doesn't ban the OP of this thread? Wow
Because you made your thread to get us to prove your argument in a skype chat.

An honest question with the reason “Conspiracy”

Firerain is the master troll, who makes dumb unfunny crap to get a response from people like you. You make him funny, not him himself.
You want studies? I'll give you more studies than you know what the fuck to do with.
Who are you and how do you know my motives
You said that the people rating disagrees were from the skype chat you where in. It's kinda obvious.
He's just one statistical point of evidence that supports my claim. As referenced in the video, he isn't the first man to do this and achieve this result either. This wasn't some fluke coincidence his cancer was entirely healed over the course of his usage of cannabis oil as a topical cream replacement. I can reference more medical research journals than I can keep track of that reaffirm this claim.
One unreliable source != hundreds of thousands (sic) of documented tests.

Imagine that. Although apparently it does cure a cough (ha) and hiccups.
did Tetracycline just get banned for saying that he should not have gotten banned?
You want studies? Do you really honestly think that if it was really so great that someone wouldn't want to control it and sell the shit out of it legally. [editline]11:02AM[/editline] And legalizing it for tax doesn't count for selling it. I mean a company.

Yet they all reaffirm my original point. Despite all of this knowledge of how much it can really help people, the government(s) still feel that they should 'protect' us(society) from it. There are a thousand points of evidence supporting my claim (that it helps) and yet our scientific community doesn't see the need to point this out to our government. Why would they do so for something as taboo as 9/11 conspiracies?
did Tetracycline just get banned for saying that he should not have gotten banned?
No. He got banned for saying someone else will be banned for making a comedy thread.
No. He got banned for saying someone else will be banned for making a comedy thread.
It was a parody thread. Which are against the rules. He pointed this out... which was also against the rules.
Yet they all reaffirm my original point. Despite all of this knowledge of how much it can really help people, the government(s) still feel that they should 'protect' us(society) from it. There are a thousand points of evidence supporting my claim (that it helps) and yet our scientific community doesn't seem the need to point this out to our government. Why would they do so for something as taboo as 9/11 conspiracies?
Because the government wants to stay in power, and will do what the people want. Most of the time anyway. If they can get more votes keeping it illegal, they will do that. [editline]11:08AM[/editline]
It was a parody thread. Which are against the rules. He pointed this out... which was also against the rules.
Exactly. That's why he was banned, no point arguing. [editline]11:09AM[/editline] And he didn't point it out, he started to bitch about his ban. [editline]11:10AM[/editline] And that previous ban was justified.
(that it helps) and yet our scientific community doesn't seem the need to point this out to our government. Why would they do so for something as taboo as 9/11 conspiracies?
Incorrect. In the UK atleast, several scientists for the drug advisory board quit because the government wouldn't listen to them about cannabis. But it's not because of some 'oppression of the government', it's purely about votes. You see, in America and some parts of Europe, weed is still a hard sell to conservative voters, and considering conservative voters number between around 40-60% of the demographic, you're trying to convince half the country that weed is OK, despite all the bullshit facts surrounding it that're inbuilt within society, and, like you, they refuse to listen to any evidence about how 'good' and 'not as bad as you think' it is because 'DRUGS ARE BAD M'KAY' attitude that most of the western world has been inbuilt with. So, this and 9/11 are not the same situation at all, because the government is not trying to suppress or oppose anything, they're merely trying to appease the middle-road demographic to stay in power, or atleast believe that all drugs themselves should remain illegal. They are people too, with human faults.
Because the government wants to stay in power, and will do what the people want. Most of the time anyway. If they can get more votes keeping it illegal, they will do that. [editline]11:09AM[/editline] And he didn't point it out, he started to bitch about his ban.
i would agree that its not the fact that the government is evil (but they are corrupt some ways) i would say its more of them doing whatever will get them elected and because most people are stupid and will only vote for someone that will make there uneducated opinions on how it should run nothing ever changes. ( even though i think it is weird that even though most americans wanted the us out of the war the 3 people that we could have elected all wanted us to stay in the war)
Was going to post how it got off-topic but I guess a snip won't do for you guys...
-snip- nvm
but i like talking about weed more then talking about how some rich old guy made money off of the deaths of his people
I agree, there is alot of physics, history and engineering science involved, and the Truthers have no counter. I admit I was wrong.
Ah, atleast that's over with. Goodnight.
While I agree with you that humans in nature have faults, the fact remains that the government themselves instilled this false knowledge about it and in turn caused this rejection of the idea that it can help in our society. It's about people figuring things out for themselves and coming to their conclusions on their own, not because the government told them so. I feel that this topic is another side of the same coin. Whether you want to believe as I do, or feel strongly in favor of the proposed government story, you should question your mindset on that ideal and come to a final conclusion based on the facts you yourself have analyzed and taken into consideration. Questioning the story you're told to believe is important too. [editline]01:22AM[/editline]
Ah, atleast that's over with. Goodnight.
Yes, please do leave.

It's been dead for the past 3 years because all the evidence is awful and all the science is on our side. It's no longer about believing the government or not, it's about stupidity.
There are a thousand points of evidence supporting my claim (that it helps) and yet our scientific community doesn't see the need to point this out to our government.
Actually, they have.

I have posted plenty of scientific papers to back up my claims. If you don't wish to acknowledge them simply because they assert a viewpoint different from yours then where do you get off calling us the stupid ones? You're deluding yourself from seeing the facts as they are by not even acknowledging them, and then projecting your insecurities onto others that don't share your view point. [editline]01:31AM[/editline] Also the difference between me and non-believers in the moon landing... I actually researched both sides extensively before I came to the conclusion that the conspiracy was hogwash. Perhaps you'll eventually see that happen by the end of this thread. I'd like to think the opposite would happen, but if it were the former I would not be disappointed.
I have posted plenty of scientific papers to back up my claims. Wow. Just wow. Your conspiracy is dead, live with the fact.
i think that the op should be talking more about the fact that (i forgot the name of the ship) that got shot down and caused America to join in on ww2 by Russain missles being a conspiracy
I have posted plenty of scientific papers to back up my claims.
Your original claim was that "marijuana cures cancer, but the government/scientists are hiding it", and the the scientific community was suppressing that fact:
Just one example: medical science breakthroughs are withheld all the time. Mostly for the reason that huge companies can't make massive profits off of them.

Here's a perfect example.
When I asked for evidence, you posted a study that didn't support that claim in any way, and a youtube video of a man claiming marijuana cured his cancer, but offering no evidence other than personal anecdote. When you were pressed for real evidence, you posted a long list of scientific studies, none of which indicate that marijuana cures cancer. In the face of this, presumably realizing you were wrong but not wanting to admit it, you changed your position to "marijuana can help treat cancer, but the government/scientists are hiding it" claiming that was your "original point":
Yet they all reaffirm my original point. Despite all of this knowledge of how much it can really help people, the government(s) still feel that they should 'protect' us(society) from it.
You also claimed that the scientific community refuses to tell the government about the findings that suggest marijuana may have medicinal properties):
our scientific community doesn't see the need to point this out to our government.
This is also patently false, as I pointed out. You didn't respond, instead electing to claim that the studies support your position:
I have posted plenty of scientific papers to back up my claims.
So, to recap, you have managed to backpedal completely from your original conspiracist claim that "marijuana cures cancer, but the government/scientists are hiding it" to the completely banal and non-controversial claim that "marijuana has some medicinal properties, according to some a number of scientific studies," all without actually conceding a single point of debate. Well done!
