Its really not that difficult to raise enormous amounts of money for your game and marketing?
It's entirely likely that Sony or JapanStudio asked From to make a game for them after the success of Dark Souls. I mean they have worked together before.

I'm not sure how AC would work with mouse+keyboard, turning speed is completely dependent on how your machine is built and in AC4, your balance affected your turning speed too

Miyazaki said he is working on AC6 as he did in AC4A. You may celebrate or be disappointed.
I just hope it is harder, controls-wise as in ACVD and in difficulty like the older games. [sp]I hope the art direction is the same as in AC4A.[/sp]

It would break the game to be honest. AC depends on "lock-ons", and "lock-on time". It acts as a pseudo-aim-assist. Without it, the gameplay is extremely challenging and fun, but it is definitely required most of the time. Analogs on controllers actually impede your accuracy, and increases the reliance on this function.
Some weapons have slow lock-on times or no lock-on at all for big reasons, one being huge attack damage. These "slow/no lock-ons" actions are used as counters to big-tank AC's with even bigger weapons, (heavy armor) and to assist light-weight/fast AC's (low armor). LW-Bipedals are already a dead class unless in the hands of veterans, it would hurt the gameplay to much.
Not to mention how they are adding dynamic gameplay like kicking or wall-jumping (making the AC more lively and adding difficulty and options in combat), making keyboard gameplay very tedious, already requiring extreme practice even on a controller...

It would also hurt the Japanese community of AC, which makes up for 85%+ of AC's sales. From Software even protects this to the point of region-locking JP and INT servers. The glorious Nippon only play PS3/PS4 I guess.

Bloodborne alone is enough to make me sold on a PS4.
Looks a lot more like Demon Soul's atmosphere/design wise, great! Always did love the DeS worlds over the DaSI/II ones, shame it's exclusive though.
