Ok I understand what you mean then, I guess I was just looking at things wrong
This thread generally concern bands that sound a little new wave in their early days, then come into their own more in terms of commercial, artistic direction. Their new styles have a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.
Some. Not my favourite genre of music, not bad, not too good, just average to my tastes. I hate this idea that classical music = good and if you don't like it you're musically ignorant. It is a genre that is just ok to me.
I love you.
I love you.
D'awwwwwww, thanks. Your post count is 2113, bugger!
Yeah, I haven't really put much effort into classical as I know I should. But someone did tell me that "classical music is relaxing". :downs:
Only thing close to classical I have is Igorrr, but that also has breakbeat and grindcore in it, so I don't think it counts so much. :v:
Yeah, breakbeat is awesome.
Yeah, breakbeat is awesome.
Especially when combined with grindcore and baroque music. :smug:
Mastodon are a good example of selling out. I'm pretty sure everyone in the music forums agree that even after they signed with a larger record label they got even better at what they did. Just listen to Crack the Skye.
are you trolling
I was more referring to classical music since 90% of it was written on commission for whoever could pay :v:
here's where you are completely wrong they loved writing music. They didn't look at writing music as a job, they were just lucky it was. Then you have musicians like paganini that never even wrote for commission and were still able to make money traveling and doing shows. Very little of beethoven's work was done for pay, bach wrote for the church because he was very religious, etc. none of them did it just for the money.
