I hate to say it, but it's been a long time coming. At least he won't be suffering anymore.
RIP
He may have had some pretty dumb marketing strategies but he was still a human being and a pioneer in home computing.
Also you're using Internet Explorer.
Dumb marketing strategies? I think not, after all, macs/iphones are not that awesome and still FUCKING SELL ALOT, do not fucking say that he didn't know marketing strategies.
(Not an Apple fag, I hate their products and also hate the fact that MacOS "big idea" was stolen from Xerox.)

Apple products may cost you a arm/leg, but you gotta admit, they are rock solid.
RIP Steve Jobs.
You will be missed. Amen.
Apple products may cost you a arm/leg, but you gotta admit, they are rock solid.
Do you mean solid as in literally they won't fall apart, or the fact that they're better than the rest of the competition? Because both are incorrect, if you drop an Iphone, it's screen shatters instantly.
RIP Steve, he's going to make and sell products in heaven.
I might just fire up my old apple IIC in his honor
Some more magnificence has gone away from this world. Shame the annoying fanbase didn't go down with him.
Oh god, the "he was a genius before his time anyone who shit talks Macs is a terrible person" reign has started. Look, I am as sad as anyone else that he died, and his company was a great innovator in technology (and marketing apparently) but rose-tinted glasses don't make his legacy any better.
They took our Jobs.

Nope, I still hate macs. If that makes me evil than so be it
This man is among few men in history who has influenced the daily lives of billions, helping develop the world into the level of technological wonder it exists in today.
Without Steve, we would all be using Zunes, and that's a blessing he's bestown upon us among many.
Rest in Peace Bro.
Finally!

People will retain their opinions regardless, I guess.
-snip that was funny but mean-
Apple has had a balance between innovation, and ripping people off. Steve Jobs was that innovative side that made Apple really feel like a forefront in the computer market. Now that he's dead... There's only one side of Apple left.
I'll admit, I've made my fair share of Apple jokes, and I was never really a huge fan of the computers themselves, but even so, sad to see him pass. Rest in peace.
I never had any Interest in Steve's early time at Apple. A lot of their Innovation was groundbreaking but a lot of that early innovation was really Wozniak. Steve was just an excellent pitchman.
It was at NeXT that I saw Steve shine. He took what he learned at Apple, the Macintosh, and the Lisa, and built the company, the software, and the system from the ground up. Everything at NeXT had a taste to it that you got when Steve had been Involved.
Everyone says that the Macintosh was Steve's baby. I say the NeXT Cube was his teenage son. Everything about that system screamed steve from the completely automated and state of the art production line to the contracting of Frog Design to create the visual style of all the NeXT hardware.
Sure it didn't sell all that well because it cost so damn much but again, that was something you could only get from Steve.
Heard about it on the way home :(
Also: RIP, inventor of the classic Breakout.
Well I suppose it's no real surprise that in this economy Apple lost their Jobs. :downsrim:
That's sad
general consensus "STEVE JOBS AND APPLE SUX" now it's "OMG WHYYY"

nope. it's because generally people get upset when people die.

To be fair, when Steve Jobs was alive people were criticizing him from a job viewpoint.
People have the right to recognize him as an outstanding inventor and a wonderful addition to the world of technology. Having him gone will be a shame, especially since he represented Apple so much.
just because you don't like his marketing strategies doesn't mean you hate the person

More of a "APPLE STILL SUX", and "Even if I did not like him, it is sad that he died, He changed the world"
I hate Apple, but I respected Steve Jobs. He was one of the best businessmen on the planet. He built what recently became the biggest company (in revenue at least) not long ago and I respect that as well. He seemed like a more down to earth guy than many other men in similar positions (Steve Ballmer anyone?), and I liked him for that. His "original" clothing style (original for a man of his position) also made me think better of him than many others. The world has lost a great man. Rest Peacefully.
Rest in peace sweet prince
RIP Steve, thanks for the Mac and iPods, pretty much got me into listening to music that I love and even helped me with writing some.

Even people who dislike macs would admit that he did some revolutionary stuff.
