The Omega Siardon slams into the surface of Nyat, causing a massive explosion visible from space. All crew that had survived to that point died in the impact. They could not eject from the ship as the propulsion system had failed. Only one crew member survived by ejecting but he soon died from asphyxiation as the air seal failed in the pod.
The entire TNSC fleet is on high alert and the forward strike fleet is preparing to enter Krarkos to combat this threat.
Nyat has air, he would've survived.
