Man, I completely forgot about these threads. I see you started over, too. The original plan I had for my Planet Central Core was for it (over about 7-8 turns) to become a superweapon that would utilize the gravitational pull of the sun and the planets to send a shockwave powerful enough to disrupt all means of communications long enough for the DE-9000 fleet to launch nuclear weaponry against every planet in the system without them being able to detect it (aside from the world map). Of course, every man would have the chance to fend for themselves. After that, the PCC was to send another shockwave which would destroy one tenth of all medium ships in the system within 3-4 rounds, which would be the final strike. After this, the PCC and the DE-9000 fleet was to use warp-technology to leave the system without a single trace. Oh well. Might join in later.

When a space-time tear is created, literally anything can pass through it. It could be ships, weapon fire, even just forces of nature (wind, fire) can pass through the tear. The possibilities of space-time extend beyond just transportation...Also, the people working with the ansible are nearly done. Once the warp shuttle exits into the C-94-1-4 system, they'll be able to send orders. Hold on, I'm working on a new race of ships. Might take a while. They have a focus on strange, crystalline geography (that seems almost impossible in shape to the human mind) and use plasma weaponry instead of ballistics.
