I remember when I was like 9 and my friend's dad burned a wasp hive with a aerosol can. They were pissed but couldn't do anything because their wings burned off.

Spiders are nasty buggers
At the middle of the top in the picture you can see the back part of an Black Widow... The one with the red time glass figure under its back part.
And yes wasps gather up spiders and other insects in their nest so the baby larva's can eat them later when the eggs hatch.
