TBH the only thing that keeps the government from regulating alcohol as it probably ought to be is the fact that its ingrained in our culture to quite an extent. That, and it's effects aren't as adverse as marijuana. For those reasons, I'd have to say no to the petition.
Tobacco on the other hand, go ahead and ban the fuck out of it. I don't care how ingrained into culture it may be (or rather was ingrained into our culture), that stuff will turn you into a zombie.
The effects of alcohol are MUCH worse than marijuanna.
I don't thing letting you get high is in the best interest of humanity.
If you wanna smoke it so bad, just go smoke it.
are you high
legal or illegal people are still gonna do it

That's not the point, did you even read the thread?
Guys this is obviously satire, it's not like tobacco and alcohol will ever be banned.
How the hell is the previous prohibition of alcohol any different than the current prohibition of marijuana? How does the government not see this? It's futile.
OMFG U AIN BANNIN MAH ALCOHOOL /caps
Seriously dude, Alcohool and Tobacco ain't ever getting banned because of the money involved, and weed... well it's weed, they don't give enough fucks to legalize it, and worried soccer moms wouldn't be happy with changing it's legal state.
The gov't doesnt like big sudden changes in society. Legalizing weed would be a big sudden change. That may be a reason why it wont be legal anytime soon
Marijuana is safer than alcohol IMO. But I quit smoking and never started drinking. But holy shit, you see all the problems and deaths that alcohol has caused, you can't help but wonder how the hell it's still legal.
