This show always makes me sad. I remember watching it as a kid when cops came and arrested my dad :frown:

The show wasn't that good (at least to me), I think a some people mistake nostalgia for actually liking the show. There was only one episode I actually liked.

Dunno, it's just a really strange show. Didn't think it was that good. Production values seemed through the floor. Wasn't all that funny either. Maybe I watched the wrong episodes or something.

I don't remember it but I remember some of the characters on the poster.

It doesn't seem to be geared tword being humorous to actual people so much as it seems to be sort of a way of developing the character that supposedly created it. His parents were Rocko's neighbors whom he had a very bad relationship with, so the fatheads are his projection of how he viewed his parents, if memory serves he met Rocko somewhere along the line and ended up hating him as well, which is why you see a character based off of Rocko at the end. In other words, The Fatheads cartoon wouldn't make sense to someone who isn't familiar with the rest of the show.

I loved this show. I remember the fucking turtle guy (forgot his name ffs) would always be like "I'M GETTING NAUSEOUS"

All I can remember about this show is that I loved it. But the weird thing is that the Wiki page says that it stopped in 1996, shortly before I was born (I said it before, I'm 13). I'm guessing that's when they stopped making episodes because I remember watching this a few years after I moved into my current house in 2001. So it must have been around for a while after they stopped making episodes. But off the useless subject of WHEN it was around, it was great, I just wish I could remember most of it. I hate TV these days, especially Dan Shneider's current shows. THEY SUCK COMPLETE ASS.

I remember hating this show as a kid. Well, maybe not hating, but I didn't think much of it, next to Angry Beavers and Ren & Stimpy. But I started watching it a few months back, it's on around midnight every night, and holy shit. I find the jokes better, even the childish ones, but really what blows my mind is the adult content. So many horror film refernces (entire episode on The Shining, I remember some parts from Psycho and a little nugget of The Birds). Another thing I like much better is Mr. Bighead, I used to hate him and the episodes around him, he was just an annoying hating old frog. But now I see that he's the average American Joe, working for the man and hating his life. There was an episode on him wanting to be a clown, and at the start the episode dealt with it like a typical coming-out-of-the-closet scenerio. Also, plenty of dick and sex jokes that flew over me as a child.

I loved this show. I also blame it for aiding my sanity to slowly disperse. This was absolutely batshit crazy.
