I don't see how you can say Die Hard 4 was awful. If you're talking about the story than I don't know what's wrong with you because who cares about story in a Die Hard movie. The story is just a basic frame for the action.
The Die Hard movies are like porno movies. Nobody watches them for the story.
Even though it should be obvious Die Hard owned Die Hard 2 was terrible Die Hard with a Vengeance was pretty good Die Hard 4 was awful these are the facts
Even though it should be obvious Die Hard owned Die Hard 2 was terrible Die Hard with a Vengeance was pretty good Die Hard 4 was awful these are the facts
Wrong. Die Hard 2 was a good movie. They are all good movies. They are all better than Indiana Jones 4 and Terminator 4. And thats my opinion.
Wrong. Die Hard 2 was a good movie. They are all good movies. They are all better than Indiana Jones 4 and Terminator 4. And thats my opinion.
No it's not, it's truth
Its foolishness to say any Die Hard movie is bad. :colbert:
Those are opinions.
i'm pretty sure they are facts
Put it this way. The Die Hard franchise has never been bad in any way. No disappointments, no lack of awesomeness, no lack in exaggeration. Its a man's man's franchise. FACT.
Put it this way. The Die Hard franchise has never been bad in any way. No disappointments, no lack of awesomeness, no lack in exaggeration. Its a man's man's franchise. FACT.
what are you talking about 2 and 4 WERE TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENTS 1 and 3 had a level of wit, they were a little clever, well executed, and had well done action. The others failed to achieve such a standard. They were mindless action, yes. Done very terribly. There's a difference between good mindless action and terrible mindless action. 2 and 4 were terrible mindless action.
4 was better than two, but 2 and 4 were not as good as 1 and 3
what are you talking about 2 and 4 WERE TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENTS
In what ways? Cheesy doesn't mean bad, because if it did then the world would be heartless which some of it is. I didn't think Die Hard 3 was a LOT better than any of them. The original is a classic 80s style movie as is the second. The fourth was fantastic because it had elements from the newer action movies and moments in the predecessors. You are stuck up, and aren't looking at the perspective they were meant to. I'm not looking for Pulp Fiction when I watch Die Hard movies. Thats a standard of "cleverness, execution, well done action" that can't be comprehended. if i'm not looking at the perspective i'm meant to, them why do i love die hard 1 so much and 3 less than one but still lots? you can't say i'm looking at it wrong, i can appreciate die hard. i love die hard. i hate the terrible die hards, they are a disgrace to the franchise. a wonderful franchise plagued by two bad films, just like the alien franchise. i think you are the one who is looking at it wrong, you can't just have RETARDED action, starring bruce willis, and slap on the title DIE HARD and expect it to be good. there's a certain great die hard way, I can't be bothered writing an essay on this shit, but 2 and 4 aint got the die hard way, and they aint no good.
The Die Hard movies in question that you say have the factor that gives them the edge, I agree with totally. I'm just saying I don't like disregarding movies that didn't have that edge completely. The first and the third are definitely the best, but I can still enjoy the others because they are still good movies. Above average, I'd say.
I wouldn't, either the Die Hard way was done right and it prevails, or the movie fails to create a sufficient die hard-ness, causing it to totally flop and be terrible because if that doesn't work it just falls apart.

well i'm pretty sure you'd be wrong about that

Get Rich Hard or Live Free Dying.
Die Hards from best to worst in my opinion: 1. Die Hard 2. Die Hard with a vengeance 3. Die Hard 2 4. Die Hard 4, not saying it's terrible, I found it okay
Swap 2 with 4 and I agree
One is a classic, one is a tribute. I prefer the classic.
I liked them all. If I find a movie entertaining, then I'm fine with it, and other peoples opinions are for me: invalid. Not to say they can't dislike the movie, I just don't care.
Die Hard is my favorite Christmas movie
Don't know why loads of people didn't like Die Hard 4, it was perfectly good. Hope this one's better, though.
I think it was because of the story line, personally i loved it and the dirty humour.
Die Hard is on E4 tonight at 9 I would watch it if I hadn't watched it on Thursday
Die Hard is on E4 tonight at 9 I would watch it if I hadn't watched it on Thursday
I watched it Last Sunday on E4. How many times will they repeat that movie?
Die Hard is my favorite Christmas movie
This. I one of the movies every Christmas instead of the normal shit that's on TV
