I got a pair of Hosa "Studio Quality" headphones for $20
I was at the music shop, and needed a pair of headphones. I'm pleased with them. They sound good (though there are certainly better) and they're comfortable.
for £12000 everything should be 100% perfect
Electrostatic headphones are as good as it gets currently. I'm sure the bass problems are minute anyways. Just minor things that experts are going to complain about.
Perfection doesn't really exist, with headphones it really comes down to personal preference in the end (I'm talking about $2000+, where what you need really depends on what you've got to listen to)

Con = They break to easily, but good for heavy stuff
pick some headphones comfortable to your head

Con = They sound like someone just shit in my earhole
Sony mdr 7506 or the 7509's.
I have the MDR-XD100.
Soundwise they deliver very well, and Iv'e always had a good experience with Sony headphones, both in sound quality and build quality. They're also not too pricy.

Con=they are terrible, overpriced shitty headphones packaged with some easy-to-sell designs.
They're almost as bad as Bose in terms of marketing scams that are far too successful.
Ultimate ears, 80% of music professionals use them, I have the TripleFi 10's and they are amazing, 3 drivers per ear all in a nice compact earbud.

Yeah that would be great if I had $300 to spend on headphones. I'm looking to spend $80-$100. I've already found three models that I like, I just need help picking one of the three. http://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Resea.../dp/B003S3RFIQ

I can safely say I've had nothing but good experience with my Grado's, but I've got SR overears. A guy form my college loves him Etymotics and I'd never heard of Klipsch before (I don't think anyway) so take from that what you can :v:

Klipsch is much better known for their home audio speakers than their headphones, or anything else. But their home audio speakers are great for their price.
