Ah yes I'm sure you'd be totally calm after your pet was shot by someone trespassing on your property.
Yes because my first reaction would be to get on my phone and start recording myself and then confront the police like I was a lawyer. This guy went straight in spouting shit without even knowing the full story. The police were looking for a missing child and if a dogs life is worth more than a child then you need to get your head checked.

I've lost pets and that shit tears you down like nobodies business. they are like your children, and when they pass, it fucking kills you emotionally. I can understand his rage, there was no true reason for his dog dying. no one is saying that the dogs life is worth more than a child. the guy literally only said "you'd totally be calm if your pet was shot by someone trespassing into your property". he didn't say "that dogs life is worth more than the missing child, fuck that cop". you're just pulling at straws by making a huge stretch like that. as for the whole child thing, I know this is an old story, but I hope they did eventually find the missing child.

He starts filming himself before he even gets to his home, then when he arrives he doesn't even go to see his dog and instead goes straight on the law attack of the police.

it'd probably sting even more knowing your dog got shot for no particular reason at all, when he said the house across the street has shitty dog owners (and therefore a shitty dog, who they've called the police several times for and nothing happened) i just felt his anger. its just a bullshit situation all around
Leaving was not a good decision at all. He left his cop buddies to do the talking for him. Fucking spineless. It shows he felt bad about it but he should have given the guy the respect to tell him what he did. For all we know the guy has an aggressive dog or the dog is very very territorial and managed to break out of whatever was holding it. Dogs can be seriously fucking aggressive. This whole situation would have been completely different if the cop who shot it stuck around instead of leaving like a coward.

It's far more likely that his superior ordered him to leave in order to deescalate the situation. [editline]10th June 2016[/editline] If you're involved in a shooting, you don't just get to leave or do whatever you want. There are procedures.
