Does anyone have the list of times the results are shown for each constituency? i think mine should be soon
There's no fixed time, they get announced when it's been counted and checked which could be any time from now til around 12:00 tomorrow
Somewhat hoping for another election - I'm about 5 months from turning 18 so if they could wait it would be appreciated. [sp]2nd election planned for the day before my birthday, calling it[/sp]
Part of me is worrying at this point that there could be a Tory majority, in which it'll definitely be five years away.
What is this
[editline]8th May 2015[/editline] Also I've got the beeb on but no sound... why are they following a car in oxfordshire?
this "david cameron driving his land rover" cam on BBC is riveting television
microphone issues :V
Just saw this thread, might sit here instead of SH. Watching the c-span coverage, and refreshing the BBC live results page. Things are starting to look interesting considering those exit polls.
The lib dems won a seat. Somehow
26% swing?! Holy shit....
SNP got exactly 30,000 votes in Kilmarnock [editline]8th May 2015[/editline] Although I voted Labour, I'd love to see Douglas Alexander voted out in Paisley. Mhairi Black is a year younger than me for christ's sake Though it's great to see more young people getting into politics. There's a guy I know at uni who's running as the Conservative MP for Glasgow South.
26% swing?! Holy shit....
this is depressing
Lady Sylvia held her seat, whoo. Very exciting that I was able to contribute towards this in my first election.
Lib dem on major damage control on the BBC. Not doing a very good job though.
The lib dems won a seat. Somehow
They've retained a seat.
Being Scottish myself, SNP just felt like the most logical choice for me. Listening to all of the results while i work on stuff on the side. LibDems will be nearly-non-existant by the end of this, hilarious.

Is that SNP MP a girl or a guy? :pwn:
lol losing to a 20 year old student
34% SWING
Very well done to Mhairi Black, let's just hope she's up to the challenge.
34% holy shit
I think Scottish independence is pretty much a given at this point. It's going to happen within our lifetime, quite possibly before the next general election.
Jesus christ, labour is being demolished.
I think Scottish independence is pretty much a given at this point. It's going to happen within our lifetime, quite possibly before the next general election.
christ that would be a disaster it's only been a few months since the referendum
Proper Glasgae lass, sounds like she eats glass Irn Bru bottles. Youngest MP since 1832? Holy shite.
I think Scottish independence is pretty much a given at this point. It's going to happen within our lifetime, quite possibly before the next general election.
They've just had a national referendum, so it would be hard to justify another so soon.
Proper Glasgae lass, sounds like she eats glass Irn Bru bottles. Youngest MP since 1832? Holy shite.
definitely looks like she could kick a few teeth in SNP are running riot as expected but these swings are insane
Youngest MP since 1667 actually... seriously? Fucking hell.
They've just had a national referendum, so it would be hard to justify another so soon.
The SNP's landslide in this election will give them all the confidence they need. Sturgeon has refused to rule out another referendum over Trident and plans for that will go ahead in the next parliament. I hope I'm wrong, but this is making for depressing viewing.
I would've voted SNP if Scotland had become independent, even though I voted No. Most of the reason I voted Labour was because I'd rather have had a majority Labour government, but I did end up agreeing with the SNP on most of their policies.
Youngest MP since 1367 BC
