Is it possible for Labour to form a minority government if that happens, like if they got enough parties to form a coalition?
They'd be hard pressed to do that. The Conservatives could probably form a coalition with the Democratic Unionist Party. Labour would need to form a broad coalition with a whole range of parties, which is next to impossible.
Well I guess Cameron's career has been defined. I hope is favorite soccer team Villa Ham is happy for him. How pumped up will he be???? Honestly the Tory campaign was awful. They won purely because of English revulsion of the Left, Scottish Nationalism, and some economic numbers.
Waiting on South Thanet results :downs:
To be honest I hardly saw any campaigning from anyone. I got one leaflet through from the local conservative chinless toff and that was it. Derby North on it's second recount :v:

If I was living with my parents right now, I'd have been able to vote for that guy. And I probably would have.
Caroline Lucas holds onto Brighton Pavillion, Green Party got nowhere but up to go now.
I guess their master plan worked...
Yay for more ideological austerity and scrounger bashing. The poor are only poor because they're feckless and lazy, amirite? On a more positive note the bone idle property investment toff Tory in my constituency got booted out and replaced with a Labour guy who did a lot for the local community and actually represented them when he was in without resorting to stock replies like the outgoing guy. Also he's promised to increase funding at the domestic violence charity and refuge I volunteer at which has suffered heavily from council cuts lately.
Don't tell me that robotic cunt Cameron is still in power. What the fuck is wrong with this country.
Goddamn Bullingdon club is still on track to be ruling the country.
What the fuck is wrong with this country.
Idk, ask the voters why they don't like labour anymore.
I'm devastated. Can't believe it.
Ukip has lost one and Balls is in trouble. This just in Balls has dropped! We have no Balls!
Je suis Ed Balls
UKIP still only have 1 seat. :v: [editline]8th May 2015[/editline] Conservatives need to get 22 out of the 37 remaining seats to form majority.
UKIP still only have 1 seat. :v:
Giving Westminster a headache, one seat at a........ ...well just with that one seat. Apparently.
I can't believe Labour got even less seats, this is excellent. :) Finally the NHS can actually breathe for once.
i'll rather have tory then labour
I can't believe Labour got even less seats, this is excellent. :) Finally the NHS can actually breathe for once.
You actually believe this? You realise that they're pretty much slowly trying to dismantle it without people noticing, regardless of what they say.
I hope the tories introduce fiscal responsibility for Scotland.
its a shame ukip hasn't won more seats, however the whole family is here rooting for cameron!
I keep seeing stuff like this all over facebook. "people died so you could have the right to vote" but surly like any other freedom we also have the right to use it or not.
I keep seeing stuff like this all over facebook. "people died so you could have the right to vote" but surly like any other freedom we also have the right to use it or not.
Yeah, just turn up and scribble all over it. Staying away just does nothing. At least if you show up and spoil it out of apathy or disdain for the system it is at least recorded. That's surely a more productive and civic-ally minded way of using those rights that people have correctly fought and died for, it's a matter of civic duty.
my area is still labour by only 7000 votes.
lincolnshire only had either the conservatives or some small time independant party nobody's ever heard of anybody guess the result?
You actually believe this? [editline]8th May 2015[/editline] tbh if David Milliband was the leader, Labour would have had a much better chance.
Derby North went Conservative by 41 votes. Wonder how many people didn't vote because they thought it "might not matter". Edit: Ed Miliband to stand down according to the BBC.
Out of bed, got on my sled to learn Red ed's dead!
Labour are going to need to do some serious reforms after this, this elections campaign was a fucking omnishambles
