Ah, thing is, all I know about politics is from my parent's, I was born in the uk, but I've lived in spain a long time, all I've gathered is from short trips to the uk, and hearing my parents say how that there's too many british businesses failing due to too much cheap competition.
I'm only 17, so all I know about politics is influenced from my parents, which happens to alot of people.
Do your own research before blaming immigrants for all of our problems. There is a legal minimum wage in place, and if the government fail to enforce this it should be on their heads, not the people coming here to work.
A far bigger problem that people are failing to address is the £2.73 minimum wage for apprentices. This would be all very well if they were required to give proper training, but these apprenticeship schemes are being massively exploited in order to get cheap labour - and this is entirely legal and is being encouraged by our government.
In the words of Private Fraser
We're doomed

I dont blame any problems on immigrants, it's just from what I've seen there seems to be too many people in the country, the population density is really high compared to nearby countires.
The other problem I've seen is that benefits are getting exploited too much.
I have not the slightest idea about politics though, I'd read up on different party's policies before actually voting.
For example, I'm not too fond of ukip's bid to leave the eu, I think that would be catastrophic

Maybe it's birth rates? I dont know
Nigel Farage has resigned. He will consider running again in the leadership contest... :v:
Nick Clegg expected to speak shortly. He's arriving at the venue.
EDIT: He's on.

If you don't have a clue about what the problems are why are you saying to vote for parties who want to slash social programs, affecting millions of poor people?

I never said to people to vote for specific party's, I said that from what's influenced me and from what I've see with no research would lead me to vote for either UKIP or the Conservatives.
I'm sorry, I have no idea what I'm talking about, as I said before, I would do research before voting
Nick Clegg has resigned.
Clegg's here to dish out the cyanide to everybody in the room
Chirst, to think 5 years ago this guy was the KINGMAKER. What a cock up.

calling it now, hooker and vodka and pills in a cheap hotel room
I bet he throws a toaster in a full bathtub, forgets to get in it, is arrested for arson, then buggered to death in one of Her Majesty's prisons.
Miliband to follow within the hour.

They'll find his body in a suitcase with the words "I'm with Nick" scrawled on the side.
They're dragging out Conservative seat 326 :v:
I'm going to wait for a conservative majority being called, then I'm going to hibernate for 5 years.
My God, the lib dems. even Norman Baker lost his seat in Lewes :v:

A dramatic Cleggxit.

Poor guy.
Ed Miliband has resigned. The resignation trilogy is complete.

bye bye millipede
I wonder what Labour is going to do now. Are they going left or right? Will they elect somebody competent?
I wonder what Labour is going to do now. Are they going left or right? Will they elect somebody competent?
I doubt it will Dan Jarvis, but it would be a sensible choice for a start.
Dare I say, not least because of how many would ask 'who?'
It will probably be Ummuna, Cooper or Burnham, though.

They'll continue to fall further and further right wing, as is politics at the moment.
There are no real industries and union membership has declined ever since Thatcher.
They just have to become small C Conservatives who don't fuck the poor. But really, centrally there is not much between the main parties.

Still stand by that Milliband himself single handedly let them down. There are a lot of silly people out there that would've been turned away by his appearance, I could understand being turned away from how he carried himself during debates and interviewed, but not because he slipped at the end of one of his debates or because he has a wonky face.

Thatcher played the long game so well she can do it from beyond the grave.
Thatcher played the long game so well she can do it from beyond the grave.
She's a chess grand master, making moves that ruin the country 30 years into the future.
Such a fucking shame about Miliband
Still weird how one of the worst run-ups to an election in recent history turned out to be a pretty fierce election itself.

I did like him, but whenever he gave a speech it appeared like he was uncomfortable being in his own skin.
