You know what I've been completely turned off by the Conservatives this campaign because they've been so negative and aren't offering anything new. Maybe if they did they could win me over but I've been far from convinced.
http://www.harrowell.org.uk/blog/2015/05/01/why-ed-miliband-wont-commit-in-advance-to-the-snp/ An interesting discussion on why Ed Miliband has constantly ruled out working with the SNP. tl;dr: Even though the SNP are riding high in the polls, about a quarter of the people polled were undecided, and could potentially vote in favour of a Labour majority
Moving honesty to one side... :v: I think it has been entirely the right decision for Miliband to publically rule out an SNP coalition during the campaign. It's not just in Scotland where this could have an effect. There's plenty of unsure voters further south who could base their decisions on this... and polling data doesn't prepare you for a split decision in the polling booth. That said, as we all know already, anything can happen when the Hung Parliament comes to pass. Until then, he's of course going to say that 'if you want a Labour Government... vote Labour."

None of them tell me what they plan to do about it. The irony of it is UKIP are the only ones that are advertising what they plan to do. The party everyone slags off about is acting the most professional and not resulting to playground antics, It's a fucking joke it really is. (this is the billboard campaign)
I will be voting UKIP, people who say we who are voting UKIP are racist and idiots are actually ignorant themselves. I've not actually seen anyone on here actually explain why UKIP's policies won't work and it's been said about 200 times now that Farage wants immigrants who actually provide the skills needed to the UK, not ones who come to the country with no skills or anything of use to British Society.
Oh the irony. You just proved how ignorant you are too because there have been at least 2 posts on the previous page that go over why UKIP is a bad party.
-snip- angry rant, probably best not to let it get to me
Murdoch will like this
Whenever a celebrity or public figure not normally associated with politics comes out in support of a political party (regardless of which party it is), I always think a little less of both them and the party they're endorsing. I get that it's just the same as anyone else trying to promote the party they support, but I just can't shake the feeling the party are exploiting their star power to convince the uninformed (like "ooh, alan partridge is voting labour and he's a funny man, I'll vote for them too").
I dunno man, David Tennant's voice seemed pretty convincing if you ask me. :v:

When it comes to 'celebrities' - Coogan has a credibility which rises above many others. A largely private man who broke cover for the sake of others during the phone hacking scandal. Also AH-HAAAAA
Want to listen to some crazy small political parties? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-32167563 Including an interview with Bez who these days looks like he took some MD in 1991 and just didn't stop (which is probably exactly what happened)
In a surprising u-turn, Russell Brand is telling people to vote (for Labour):
Wonder how many left themselves unregistered for the sake of Brand's 'revolution.' Hopefully not many. But too late for them.

He claims to be some super pro-socialist guy but here he is urging people to vote labour who are currently pro-austerity? at this point im pretty sure he's just doing all this for publicity and nothing else
A new poll suggests Nick Clegg may be saved by massive tactical voting from Tory supporters http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/may/04/breathtaking-surge-of-tory-tactical-votes-to-save-nick-clegg-in-hallam-poll
urgh, fucking tactical voting
A new poll suggests Daily Express readers may be too distracted by #royalbaby to remember to go and vote UKIP
urgh, fucking tactical voting
Hey mate I'm tactical voting too. It's sometimes the least worst option.
My dad reckons that no party will get a majority (which I think is obvious at this point) but that the parties with the most seats won't want to form any sort of coalition and we'll have to reelect. It's increasingly looking like it might go that way the closer we get to election day.
A friend found this on a bus. Can't fucking believe this shit. [t]http://puu.sh/hBrih/7ae1d52355.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/hBrjm/e935a3f17f.jpg[/t]

Well best of luck to all candidates tomorrow, and I'm excited to see the results post-tuesday! The reason I'm so curious and interested in the UK's politics is, well, we (the US) still have a relationship with the Mother Country, and I feel it's in my best interests as someone interested in history and culture to understand how our ally's governments work and operate. Also it lets me in on British jokes
But the Election is Thursday mate.
That still isn't killing. Bedroom tax isn't even an actual tax. Even if it was, a TAX cannot kill. It is not an object or being. Placing signs that say 'bedroom tax kills' is ridiculous and I'm pretty sure there is a law about it.
you seem like a really boring cunt
you seem like a really boring cunt
We start the election week with a poll which sums up the entire campaign.
YouGov: CON 33% (-1) LAB 33% (-) LD 10% (+1) UKIP 12% (-) GRN 5% (-)
Now Ed must ask... what would Tucker do?
I know what people say to you right. They say: "We hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. Everybody hates you." So fucking what? Some people, they just fucking love to hate. Some people, they'd fucking walk around the fucking Garden of Eden, fucking moaning about the lack of fucking mobile reception! These are the kind of fucks who watched Mandela, fucking Nelson Mandela, walk to freedom...and said "is Diagnosis: Murder not on the other side?" So we fucking forget about them. DC, Nick Clegg, and their hordes of fucking robots - they're coming over the hill. And all you have to do now is bend down, pick up any fucking weapon you can AND TWAT THE FUCKERY OUT OF THEM! LET'S GET OUT THERE, AND LET'S FUCKING KILL THEM! LET'S SET FIRE TO TEARS! LET'S GO!
Like it or not a lot of younger people listen to what he says, a lot of people disillusioned with the main parties especially. Labour have made some effort at reaching out to the younger voter demographic whereas the conservatives have replied with the normal playground insults they've been so fond of this election.
Wonder how many left themselves unregistered for the sake of Brand's 'revolution.' Hopefully not many. But too late for them.
I work in Elections and legally we're not allowed to unregister them, it's literally against the law to not be on the register. You'd have to fraudulently register somewhere outside your councils area and even then if the other authority get a whiff of something suspicious they can pass it on and you may even end up with a fraud investigation marker on your account although the chances are slim. It's more likely that they'd simply not register under individual electoral registration. [editline]5th May 2015[/editline] It's nice that he's changed his mind but the damage was done on the 20th.
[t]http://puu.sh/hBrjm/e935a3f17f.jpg[/t]
That's disgusting, the line breaks differently in the first row.
Classic DM headline
Trust Labour? I'd rather trust Jimmy Savile to babysit..
Somehow I don't believe him. Final Populus Poll before polling day:
Con 34 (+1) Lab 34 (+1) Ukip 13 (-2) Lib Dems 10 (+1)
