Someone will make an alternative. This "oh internet" thing won't last long. oh internet to ED is what canv.as is to 4chan
So they couldn't afford to pay the domain? Aren't they like $9 a month?
So they couldn't afford to pay the domain? Aren't they like $9 a month?
I would imagine that ED got quite a bit of traffic.

yes; sadly the famous page is now lost forever
Finally
Aw darn it. I found ED quite funny.
I think they should've deleted all of the shitty articles and still keep the ''no holding back'' writing style that made the site unique.
Ohinternet is such a dumb name.
This is a sad day indeed, I loved this site mainly because of the articles analising "notorious" Deviantart members. Now it's all gone, all coverted in a piece of shit site full of ads and political correctness :sigh:
oh no what am i to do
Always preferred Uncyclopedia anyway
ED was starting to get good, because of Rebecca Black.
It was bound to happen. Even the other orginal "internet culture" sites which are popular have been struggling to stay online, eventually forcing them to evolve into something in a way or another. For example, Moot had some 20 000$ debt because of his site. But some investors gave him a huge amount of money for his project canvas, Which most likely is going to be an SFW version of 4chan to create an alternative noob friendly internet culture to get retards buy crap. What i'd like to know is why theres so much money put on this from all directions, because selling "u mad" t-shirts doesnt generate enough money to make any of this profitable in these conditions. For me the only logical reason for such activity would be domination.

Atleast that is what is said on the first page.
good riddance
R.I.P. ED :sigh:
Now we'll have to tell our grandkids the tales of the land of ED to prevent it from fading from history..
As bad as most of the articles were, ED had some goldmines. Especially the articles covering the dumb attempts at anon "operations" /b/ tried to do, with little to no success. And the constant attacks on the site for being offensive, which were just funny. And how the hell were the advertisers on ED scared of it pushing customers away when most of their adverts were for fleshlight, meme t-shirts, and other useless meme-junk. It isn't like the people who visited ED were going to be steered off buying that shit after looking at most of the dumb crap they had posted.
For example, Moot had some 20 000$ debt because of his site
what, I thought he broke even with 4chan
Its being backed up to lurkmorepedia.com however, its going good so far, the more people recover the pages from the google cache the better.
Maybe not all articles were funny, but, heck, My Immortal pretty much broke my jaw from laughter. And seeing the SFW version now just doesnt touch me anymore. :smith:
Nooooo!
and cracked has had a horrible makeover
meh, the content is still there which is the most important thing
I thought the only people who really cared about ED were 4channers

Buncha' fags / furries in denial. Clicking on "Starfox" ruined my childhood, while clicking on "Offended" raped my eyes. Also, being racist, or nazist (in FP's case) is not funny. It was time someone ended it.
aww....
Same shit happened with nothingtoxic
I wonder if Chris Chan will come back now.
