Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Spice and wolf

It's about a cat that was turned into a cyborg by an evil scientist that wants to dominate the world. The show is a little kiddy, but totally awesome. I think it's the most underrated thing ever
Not really anime, But I would reccomend "Les Triplettes de Belleville", (AKA "Belleville Rendezvous in some places"). Its a french animation with very little speech, but a really interesting art style. Its about a Gandmother who has to save her grandson from the mafia after he is kidnapped during the tour de france.

eh i liked Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho. Cowboy bepop was fucking sweet but someone already posted it. Also try Berserk. Its not a dub but has subs, Pretty good.
I'm currently watching High School of the Dead, it's pretty good. Though I tend to stay away from anime because whenever I watch it I get this feeling of depression, now that I think about it, I've been feeling depressed all day.
Clannad....
Princess Mononoke, best fucking Anime ever.
Have you watched Gantz? watch it it is about people dieing
I'd recommend the manga over the anime.
I rarely watch Anime but I'll suggest.. Deathnote for sure. Last Exile had some really great characters, shame it was so short. Darker than black was pretty good.
Gungrave Princess Mononoke Hellsing OVA; It goes much further in the story than the main series.
Blood The Last Vampire Dead Leaves The Animatrix Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Cowboy Bebop Samurai Champloo Afro Samurai

If you like murder/mystery then Detective Conan.
one piece has been made for like 12 years, and it's only halfway
the 4kids version, sure. the japanese version is certainly still a children's show (as are most anime) but it tackles things like rebellion, slavery, and racism. it's something a non-adult can easily enjoy if they'd bother to even watch it. (assuming they like anime at all, though.) it's very long but there's a sense of progression and you can tell that it's building towards some sort of climax (which is something you don't usually get in an anime with 400+ episodes)
Detective Conan, i've grown very addicted to both the manga and the anime.
Some are Repeated Inuyasha Movies + Series That is all I could think of these are the animes I would suggest.
Inuyasha had so much filler that there was no actual plot, in fact they ended the series with a filler.
No argument there, but who knows he might like it too.

Darker than Black
alot of people are telling me to see FLCL so I think I will give it a try sad no one haves told me I should see Berserk or unless everone read the OP for once which is a first
Op here are some that I enjoyed. If you like fighthing, good story, epic battles: Dragonball Epic stuff, watch it. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan. Manly man with even manlier robots and drills. Hokuto No Ken. Cromartie High School. Actually this one is really funny, though short and the ending sucks. Worth a watch it's less than 30 episodes. Death Note If you like detective books, you will love this. Just ignore the fanbase. Also, go to the Fast Anime thread.

I already read the manga so the anime just looks like stills from the manga with less detailed art and terrible animation. Only really good thing about it seems to be the soundtrack.
