Wow if this is new then Pendulum have turned to shit again
Again? They've been declining ever since the pre-HYC stuff, HYC was still awesome though. In Silico sucked some major balls but was still listenable, but this is rather crap if you ask me. [editline]02:29PM[/editline]
Pendulum songs always sound the same these days, and I am NOT joining the "Drum and bass sounds the same!" bandwagon its pretty much all I listen to but they keep using the same instruments and bass-lines in most of their songs, its so boring. I think people like sub focus and netsky have really overtaken them. Also like people said above really cheesy lyrics.
Yeah, this song sounds a LOT like Propane Nightmares, another shit song. With their albums, in terms of time vs quality, they're like the Matrix Trilogy, the first one was fucking brilliant, you just gotta pretend the second and third parts didn't happen.
READ THIS This album is somewhat an accumulation of all pendulums styles. Watercolour is more like In Silico, whilst another track "Salt in the Wounds" is more like Hold your colour. If you don't like this, look up salt in the wounds.
Is Salt in the Wounds the one with that trippy 3D video?
A bit too much singing.
I wonder what they call this genre ??
Shit
What ever taste in music you have, (I preferring rock/metal) you can't ignore the amazing songs that Pendulum make.
I wonder what they call this genre ??
Its still Drum and Bass because of the Hi-Hat every 2nd and 4th beat.
I preferred them when they didn't have too much singing but this does sound rather good.
I don't really like it. Too much singing, the music is somewhat simple. [editline]04:54PM[/editline] That's where my kind of music is at.
The first time I hear the music from Pendulum, was in this video.
The first time I hear the music from Pendulum, was in this video.
Mine was a Halo 3 trick jump video called "Jump Tactics", Hold Your Colour.
The first time I actually looked more into Pendulum was after hearing Slam in the de_dust2 flash video.
Not bad; judging it in comparison to In Silico (given the similarities in style), it could do with some more bass.
