Daaaam, I think your cutting it close to height restriction standards in the Army.
Technically I'm 6'6" and a half. I really hope my height is fine because I literally daydream about being a soldier every day.

I know there are a few things they won't allow tall people to do.

Just do Infantry.
Any MOS that lets me go on patrols and stuff, I know I wont be flying any choppers or driving any tanks.
Anything ground side will pretty much give you an opportunity to do that. My buddies an LAV mechanic and he got sent to Afghanistan as a machine gunner. Technically speaking everyone in the corps can go do that stuff, hell sometimes they let the air wing guys go out and do it. So long as you don't get something like intelligence or crew chief you'll be able to do that stuff.
Well I have my mind set. Enlist for the Marines, take the ASVAB, and hope to be stationed on a carrier. Can't wait till I'm 18
Uhh if you really want to get onto a carrier you mind as well just join the Navy,
I was thinking that, but the carrier is my first choice, second would be ground mechanic since I have worked on many cars, trucks etc. I still got a few years to think

YES THAT'S THE KNIFE HAND
The blue ring is made of the sweat and tears they licked off of smoked privates and their black badges are but windows into their souls; black.

I didn't think they would be handing them out so soon. I don't have a link at the moment, but I can go look around and try to dig something up. Had to wear our civi ones till then. Time to go celebrate by changing out my gauze and knocking myself out with vicodin. Yay...
