Couldnt tell ya. They literally brought in a bajillion of us in the last recruiting cycle. Its a field thats usually critically manned, so theres a good chance. Hope ya like C130s, cause thats all they have right now. C17 slots are at like 75% capacity for the next year.Math isnt anything too crazy, just using formulas. I'm not qualified yet, but I at least know the basic shit.

C-130's are pretty sexy imo. Especially the J models. Once they mount some weapons on that bad boy I'll be itching to weaponeer for it.
I'm partial to the 4 bladed ones. I like old things. Speaking of old things, my dad lived near RAF Lyneham where the RAF housed its C-130 fleet. Tomorrow I am going to Warner Robbins to the museum. I love that base.

If you own your own personal weapon, you can go to any off-post firing range all you want. Any on-post range is always scheduled, and they are pretty rare.

The C-130s ability to be modified for a completely different use is what baffles me. B-52s are crazy as hell though. It's easy to fulfill multiple strike options with it. Bomb the fuck out of one target then move on to the next 5+. The only thing that I don't like about it is the speed. It gives it a disadvantage when it comes to penetrating IADS. Throwing it in behind some 15s and/or 16s though would prove a deadly combination to targets hiding behind their air defense.
Any aircraft that has the option for bomb integration, cargo drop caps, or ELINT/SIGINT equipment is a friend in my book.

Oh, dont get me wrong, I wanted 130s. The J models get me hard. So far though, I'm assigned to H models, but that could change by the time i start IQT, which isnt until February...

This fucking 2300-0500 curfew in Japan is killing me. I'm going to Tokyo in 3 days for leave and ill have to be in my hotel by 2300. Can't wait for them to lift this bullshit.

Same shit happened in Pcola, except since they're all in student status they have to sign out with 3 other people on top of that. I'm semi-surprised that goes for leave as well though, I find that a bit odd but not necessarily out of place.

Yeah . If you're active duty, SOFA status in Japan curfew is 2300 no matter what. The shitty thing is I can't get away with it in Tokyo. I booked reservations for the New Sanno (which is a Naval activity that is just a Hotel located in downtown Tokyo) so they'll catch me if I come back past 11.
