Who here is ready to spam me with dumbs? I've honestly never liked Aphex Twin. :v:
He's quite hard to listen to in my opinion, but his music is quite interesting due to the sheer complexity of it.

Why are people talking about Aphex Twin and BOC in a thread about electro-house? I've personally never liked electro (particularly all the naff French stuff) but I've had a recent soft spot for Crookers, at least everything but their Kid Cudi remix. Also, I was recently horrified to find out how much Daft Punk (who now fall into the category of naff French house) sample from other songs without adding a thing! e.g. Edwin Birdsong's "Cola Bottle Baby".

That original version is actually better than what Daft Punk turned it into.

I honestly can't see what Daftpunk has done to some of their samples other than lower the filter cuttoff and increase the speed, or the reverse.
Bah well I like what they do besides some of those major sample inclined songs.
Fake Bloods fix your accent EP is just pure gold.
Fake Bloods fix your accent EP is just pure gold.
agreed
Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim are some of my favourite electronic artists. I also listen to some of The Prodigy's older stuff. I like Daft Punk too, but their first album more than any of their others.
I'm agreeing with almost everybody's suggestions, keep em' up. One thing though, I thought Chemical Brothers' latest album was shockingly bad.
I thought there were a few good ones on there, like Saturate and We are the Night. I didn't like the singles for it though, they were too hip-hopish. Also new Basement Jaxx album, Scars, coming out September 21st.
Steve Aoki is a cunt.
He's cooler than you are I know someone who's DJed with him. [editline]06:47PM[/editline] you also forgot Diplo, Switch and Major Lazer you clearly know nothing.
Decomposure Clark Frog Pocket Hexstatic SoiSong Squarepusher Coil Wisp Vorpal Venetian Snares The Flashbulb Datach'i Astrobotnia Some good stuff.
Anyone know any good breakcore besides Venetian Snares, Bogdan Racynski and Hecate? The rest I've heard is kinda not good at all.

On the Aoki front, ever since I saw him jumping around on that stupid bloody beetroots song my stomach turns looking at the ugly bastard. Now if that's cool, then I need to take a look at myself.
I'm a huge fan of Veto. Seriously, if you like electronic music with a hint of rock then I'd recommend them. Here two songs from their newest album:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Fucking agree there :respek: :denmark: [editline]06:18PM[/editline] I'll just post their big hits

Steve Aoki also owns dim mak records, one of the largest electro record labels besides Ed Banger. I also notice how you've never heard of Major Lazer or Switch. Quit acting like you know everything because you don't. PS it's not 'The Crookers' it's just 'Crookers'

Spoilers: Switch and Diplo are Major Lazer.

It's my opinion, and on the Major Lazer and Switch front - they're alright, but nothing special BUT THEN AGAIN THATS MY OPINION TOO. And whats with the needless dig with the Crookers, I can call them whatever I want. I could call them srekoorcs for all I care.
Where is Ratatat on that list?
Where is Ratatat on that list?
I'll update it with all the suggestions tomorrow, and everything I know of too. It's time I add everything before I get another disagreeing with me.
