Yes. I said I'm fussy. But part of that I blame on a subconscious association with those utes you see every now and then with the massive TOYOTA painted on the rear. So the badge reminds me more of utility cars rather than sports cars.
Also it doesn't really matter with the 86, because Subaru produces them with their own badge, the BRZ of course. And I believe Subaru made the engine anyways, but as this point I'm grasping at straws haha.

Yeah, crossovers are basically minivans with front-hinged rear doors and (usually)less space, and are only "in" beause minivans eventually caught that weird "station wagon stigma" that people originally bought them to avoid in the first place. Next thing you know, there will be a hot "new" mommymobile that will make many turn away from CUVs.

Those escape have the weakest suspension I've seen in any crossovers/suv or even car. Took a day to blow shocks on a newish one.

Funny that you mention that... when I first got my Blazer, my mechanic and I had to go and use one of those to get gas to my truck when he was taking it back to his garage after a front-end alignment. He said it was another customer's, and it was in for... bad shock replacement.
