No shit, I used to live in Columbus. Technically in Westerville, though.
No shit, I used to live in Columbus. Technically in Westerville, though.
That's really close to where I live. I live in Lewis Center...
Look all over the Earth for his tony the tiger shirt
I don't get it. Has anyone found legitimate evidence to whether he's alive or not. This is just a thread of indecisiveness.
Well that guy that works with him convinced me. Tourette's Guy, legend of the century.
Is his name Danny like in the videos? Does he act like he does in the videos?
Great first post.
Great first post.
Oh man, I remember this thread. I wish we actually had any decisive proof, though.
he is alive. he went to jail tho
cool but creepy.
shit man i remember this thread
Oh God why someone necrobumped this FP is getting full of necrophiles recently
Oh God why someone necrobumped this FP is getting full of necrophiles recently
and you're helping it stay on the front page. i don't know why people don't understand this, someone does it every time. the last post was an hour ago, did you really have that much to contribute?
and you're helping it stay on the front page. i don't know why people don't understand this, someone does it every time. the last post was an hour ago, did you really have that much to contribute?
Yeh I totally agree with you.
Yeh I totally agree with you.
Do you know what this button does?
Do you know what this [img_thumb]http://cdn.fpcontent.net/fp/ratings/tick.png[/img_thumb] button does?
But that doesn't bump the thread, now does it? I agreed with somoene who said that bumping a thread with little contribution just to say it's annoying it gets bumped is ironic. So I replied and said I agree, which is... double ironic? I'm not sure.
This thread is pretty cool. I was a big fan of the Tourettes Guy videos (User was banned for this post ("Don't bump without content" - Craptasket))
Definitely resurrecting an old thread here, but I stumbled back upon this link in my bookmarks a few days ago, and wanted to post something that nobody had found yet: At the end of the DVD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqJdp0EE-qI) there's a logo image in the credits with the text "An Elbow Film". I did a TinEye search on the graphic itself and luckily stumbled upon Jared Six's personal website: http://www.inkblottestwallpaper.com/ It's an interesting place on it's own, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything, so I threw the link into the Internet Archive, and came up with an Interview page that he'd removed back in October 2005; you can check it out in full here: http://bit.ly/q38Trg, or just read below for the important parts:
Creative Edge : There is a website called "Tourette's Guy.com" located at... www.tourettesguy.com (Warning: This site is not Safe For Work or Children due to language) and on this site it has a bunch of video clips of a guy with “Tourette’s Syndrome” twitching and cussing out of control. Is it true that the guy with Tourette’s Syndrome in those clips is one of your patients? Jared Six : Yes. Creative Edge : Where did you meet “The Tourette’s Guy” and why don’t you tell me a little bit about him... Jared Six : Well, I’ve been working with “The Tourette’s Guy” as you call him for about 5 years now. Jared Six : If you go to that site there’s a video clip where he’s asleep and when he’s asleep someone puts a giant 4 ft. tall statue of a blue M&M next to his bed and when he wakes up he sees the giant 4 ft. tall statue of a blue M&M just standing there next to his bed and it scares him so bad that he goes into an episode and starts cussing it out. It was actually my idea to put the M&M next to his bed. I went out and bought a huge statue of a blue M&M and gave it to the people filming that documentary and told them to put it next to his bed when he was asleep, because I’ve always wanted to know how someone with Tourette’s Syndrome would react to waking up and seeing a giant blue M&M just standing there next to their bed. Creative Edge : Hmmm, that’s very unusual, but interesting to say the least. I don’t think that I would have thought of doing something like that in a million years. Creative Edge : But some people criticize you and your practices and say that it’s wrong to do these kinds of unusual experiments on people. What are your feelings on that? Jared Six : I do the experiments that I do because nobody has ever tried them before and I want to know what will happen. That’s the only way that we will ever learn. Creative Edge : Is the guy with Tourette’s Sndrome always like that? And does everyone with Tourette’s Syndrome act like that? Jared Six : Definitely not. It’s important to note that not everyone with Tourette’s Syndrome cusses like that. It’s also VERY important to know that he has a lot of other mental problems as well that cause him to act like that. Jared Six : It’s not like everyone with Tourette’s Syndrome wears a neck brace and a Tony The Tiger shirt either. Creative Edge : Good point. Creative Edge : Although that would be funny if they all did though.
After all these years it's still interesting to me how all of these people relate to each other. Also, it's pretty obvious that Danny at least suffers with the real syndrome to a degree, even if it was played up in the later videos. Anyway, this is my thanks to everybody who posted their own findings. Maybe someday somebody will get a chance to sit down with one of the people involved and get the straight story.
Wow. For once a nice, informative, on topic bump on Facepunch! That was an interesting read.
Wow. For once a nice, informative, on topic bump on Facepunch! That was an interesting read.
I was getting all pumped up and ready to see some idiot bumping an old thread. Pleasantly surprised.
Ah, I remember this thread. It was a pretty awesome read back then. Good bump too
I think someone has too much time on their hands and needs to get a life... The amount of "research" put in here is beyond creepy. I'd be surprised if the family didn't get pissed off at you for "cyberstalking"
I think the thread was good in 2008, but may someone please lock and delete it? This thread seems to have gotten a lot bigger than I had originally intended :P. I searched it in google. Not only is it the first result, but I found a stumble upon link for it aswell.
Well if you say so...
I can confirm that he actually is named Anthony L Six and lives in Whitehall OH. His sons name is Jared Six. He bought the house at 4270 mayflower in 2002 and still owns it. He had his AC replaced in 2014 for $6000, according to the Franklin County Records, and in some new videos there is a new thermostat next to the bathroom. A new youtube channel was made called tourettes guy with the mist recent video being posted in November of 2017 so he is definitely alive. The house was also painted white.

WE NEED MORE DETAILS
Whoa that's a blast from the past, 10 year old thread. This picture was taken 8 years ago. Not that I doubt you, but it'd probably be a better idea to post a more recent one? Anyhow, relay our greetings haha
This is one amazing thread to resurrect.
im sad all the images are dead
