TearofGrace is good...for the Shadow of War games only. His style of humor clashing with the enemy uruk combat and banter works. Be weary as he tends to break the mic more than PDP in his early days. Dimondbolt and Chris McFeely pretty much cover everything related to Transformers barring Bayformers for obvious reasons. If you want to know more of the franchise outside of Michael Bay's trash movies then these guys are for you. Chris does TF lore videos: DiamondBolt reviews new and old TF media such as the new shows and old shows ala James Rolfe in a sense. Plot, action ie the animation, characters, and final thoughts are the usual structure in his videos. He does cover other shows like the Powerpuff Girls remake, but they are not the focus. Certainly a better personality than Mr. Enter.
Hand Tool Rescue This guy produces such awesome, laid-back content of him restoring antique tools. Really awesome to watch and plenty to learn.
This video recommendation thread has such an intense nerd overload that my glasses are growing glasses. And I don't even wear glasses.
killgruz uploads like once every thousand years but when he does he mostly reviews games for NES and Mac OS Classic. These games range from relatively well-known to the really weird. Lindybeige I'm always impressed at how he can talk for +15 at a camera without any jump cuts and his topics are incredibly fascinating and he’s always got something interesting to say.
Nicholas "The Chieftain" Moran, a military historian working for World of Tanks developer, Wargaming. He does a lot of videos where he pretty much gets into tanks and talks about their history and what it takes to operate them. Despite doing this as part of his job at Wargaming, they're still pretty interesting if you're an enthusiast for tanks and armoured warfare like me.
AVE Some Canadian engineer dude with a fantastic sense of humor (so many innuendos, holy shit) who looks at electronics/mechanical stuff and tells you if it is well made or if the manufacturer tried to cheap out. He also has a quite unique vocabulary, to the extent that it has its own Wiki page. It's also quite educative, he looks at stuff and he tries to figure out how stuff works with the viewer.
Sweet! I was hoping someone would post this guy, his videos are great. I think he may be a machinist? Not too sure since he doesn't disclose what he does for a living.
Jaimie Mantzel. He built a toy spider-robot, he built big spider-robot, he built two super dangerous lumber mills, he built an awesome tower-house in the woods, he bought some islands somewhere in Panama where he lives now, built a boat, and is in the process of building a "fortress". If you're not interested in his other videos, at least check out this tour of his tower. One floor is a trampoline.
I came in here to post this too. I've been watching this guys stuff for a very very long time. At some point a long time ago when he was first starting the giant robot spider project, someone posted the video here on facepunch, and that's when I first subbed. This guy is talented and dedicated. I still can't believe he built his own solar powered bulldozer, and effectively uses it as a mobile power source to power his domes [editline]1st February 2018[/editline] Its sad that people on youtube were shittalking his work so much that he disabled commenting and ratings, but at least he has a reddit that people communicate to him on.
Gears and Gasoline Super underrated car channel with top quality camera work
Dunno if he's unknown or not but, I watch a lot of Mustie1's stuff. Seems like a pretty genuine guy, and he works on a lot of really neat things (mainly things with small engines), In particular he just finished up a build of a Cushman Meter Maid
HippoCrit is a funny guy who talks about video games, usually nostalgic PS1 era platformers and the like. He has some live action segments and some edits that are pretty charming because they usually look kind of shitty on purpose, in a charming Tim and Eric-ish way. But it's not as in-your-face and obnoxious as other youtubers can be, it's pretty casual and relaxed. His 3 part Rayman video series is some of the best stuff he's made in my opinion.
Technology Connections is great if your into medium length, no-nonsense videos about tech. It tends to be older audio/video and recording/broadcast formats, but its not a rule. I think he tries really hard to balance it between going overboard with engineer lingo, while not treating you like a complete moron.
Tommy Edison, a guy that was born blind, does videos explaining his day to day life being blind and some blind challenges and funny stuff. He is probably the most optimistic and nice people on YouTube
The Creatures of Yes Only 1700+ subs which is super disappointing considering the amount of effort that has clearly gone into making this channel. It's kinda like a weird 70's kid's public access show made with original equipment from the era (even the sewing machines for the puppets!) complete with this errey yet kinda magical dark feeling.
In this thread post someone on YouTube who you really love but doesn't have a lot of subs/isn't very well known. -snip-.
Was going to mention SorcerorDave, been with him since the old days of <1000 subs, back when he did some morrowind stuff, along with Zemalf he really shaped the way I play RPGs as well.
Was going to mention SorcerorDave, been with him since the old days of <1000 subs, back when he did some morrowind stuff, along with Zemalf he really shaped the way I play RPGs as well.
We og dave fans remember when he was called Jingles Legit once in a stream like two years ago he was streaming himself on a pilgrimage to Necrom in Morrowind and near the end of it he referred to me by name and I fangirled out SUPER HARD
Materwelonz [HD]https://youtu.be/5na-u6DNYq8[/HD] Very relaxed Let's Player and essentially the opposite of most popular youtubers. She doesn't do any of the usual obnoxious youtube gimmicks, has a very attentive and exhaustive playstyle and plays all sorts of story-driven games, from RPGs to Visual Novels.
Justin Kuritzkes. Although you probably know him as the Potion Seller guy. He has a lot of other videos including acting, singing & making music, and he writes plays irl I think. A real renaissance man. His songs are actually pretty good and some of his acting videos are really funny, or emotional. He's got one video called "Dolores" where he acts as a guy who's wife died and it really tugs on the ol heartstrings.
Barshens I'm surprised this channel isnt quiet so well known given that it's an off shoot of Ashens. The thing is, while ashens and barry make the 'show' it honestly would not be the same without the crew they got working on it.
jlwii2000, one of the best reviewers when it comes to Model Railroading:
This guy does excellent jazz piano covers and original pieces on his various models of Fender Rhodes pianos.
I am always surprised at how little views SoulBrothaNumbuh 3 seems to get for the amount of effort he puts in. His dubs are amazing, but few of them ever get above 100k.
