They will definitely supply helmets (a paintball to the eye can turn your eye into a gloopy mess), and they might supply overalls, if it is anything like the paintballing place I went to recently.
Yes, they supply full face and jumpsuits (and armour if you're a pansy) [editline]03:49PM[/editline]
birmingham to london is cheap by train
CourageDog and myself will be heading down there from Tamworth. -redacted-
Ah shit forgot my brother is at Uni, but I am still a might come, lemme just research some travel details.
FCC to King's Cross, circle line to Tower Hill, c2c to Upminster from Fenchurch St.
anyone who buys extra armour is a poosy and will attract more paintballs
in reality all you need for paintballing is a mask of some sort. [editline]11:28AM[/editline] for protection
I think we should all get our own different coloured arm bands from somewhere like asda so we can split off into squads.
in reality all you need for paintballing is a mask of some sort. [editline]11:28AM[/editline] for protection
Well yeah but you don't want paint on your own clothes so overalls are good
Well yeah but you don't want paint on your own clothes so overalls are good
The paint is water soluble, it washes out quite easily, but it's easier for the marshals to pick out when you are hit if you are wearing camo/dark jumpsuit.
birmingham to london is cheap by train
Yes but it's my birthday when my family will expect me to be around and stuff, also my parent might not let me. Its not the Time/money.

It no longer matters whether you're junior or adult now thanks to the promotion metallics sorted for us. Everyone pays £7.
Yeah I'm keeping track anyway just in case they ask.
Going paint balling tomorrow as well. I live like 250m away from a centre as there is one in my village :D
I REALLY REALLY want to go but the whole traveling from Birmingham thing is putting me off. It's either a 3 hour drive, or a 4 hour £80 train :( Anyone else going from brum/midlands? Whats the cheapest you guys have got it for the train?

Really not as bad as you're making it out to be. That, and I'm actually further north than you so if your travel is longer than mine you must be doing something wrong.

if you book it now it's £7 from birm to london. winnah. and that's not even with a YPR
Not driving then?
I might, depends on whether I'm stopping in London with someone for a few days. Seems a waste going down just for one afternoon really
Ducktape + Sharpie. We asked the Marshall to put a stripe, 2 stripes or a cross on our helmets with tape to distinguish between each squad. Putting sashes with tape across your chest also works.

It takes 1hr 10 on virgin trains or slightly longer by London Midland/Chiltern Railways.

If I bought a ticket on the day it'd cost me £85 or so to go from Barrow-in-Furness, connect with the mainline at Lancaster, and then travel down to Euston. Then back again. As it stands, I have gotten a ticket for £32.00 Sort it out
