I've only been paint balling once, a few months ago, was loads of fun (though the only place I got shot was the SAME FINGER 3 times, pretty bloody after that), and would love to come but I wont have the money or the time for then, maybe next times (assuming this is a success)
if you have a tippmann, ditch the etrigger and spare the money so that you can buy for example an proto SLG which is around 200 bucks.
I've heard slg's have bad quality control, SP vibes are far better, cheaper, and easier to clean.
There's not much point in using an E-Trigger for woodsball to be honest.
imagine this as a movie, with this playing as the camera pans across us :v: i don't care if i'm looking too much into it, it would be fucking awesome and you guys know it
Well I will have my helmet cam if you want me to try it :v:, I'm not risking using my HD camera though.
About the teams I think I may have a solution, as we currently do not know who is better or who is worse, on the day the first few games could be split at complete random, so you aren't always with the same people. After this we could maybe split the teams so each has an equal(ish) amount of skill at paintball. Although I think it'd be great if all of us could challenge another team and thrash them to pieces :buddy: Also I've never played paintball or used anything higher powered than a terrible spring airsoft gun, which was about 6 years ago, but with the power of rainbows I will have a miracle experience in which Zelda will hand the fabled ocarina of time over to me and I will practice 7 years ago for this very day. Or I'll just suck at but have fun anyway V:v:V
There's not much point in using an E-Trigger for woodsball to be honest.
yeah there is. But then again, it depends who you're playing with. If you play with hardcore guys, who use bt15'stippy phenom etc, yeah. but just playing rec with friends, not really needed. pro-tip using speedball markers in a scenerio, or woods ball, is a far better, than hauling around your heavy tippmann. But some people like their markers to look like an AK, or M16 or something :v:

Some sites do paintball tanks.
i'm really not bothered about even teams, just let people go with who they want. i'd prefer to be on a team with the camping folks though.
Give me a marker in the form of a tank and I'll be happy.
How about just a tank?
I've heard slg's have bad quality control, SP vibes are far better, cheaper, and easier to clean.
if you really find it hard to unscrew 2 small screws and pop the bolt (its not really called bolt on the SLG) or what it's called and lubricate it, then really paintball isnt for you. My SLG works just fine just like when i just bought it. No problems for me yet. Also the SLG is a cheap, good and it's performance does the job really well. EDIT: also you've just "heard" about it, which doesn't make it true at all. Unless you have evidence or personal experiences about this then it's just bollocks, 2 of my friends and i (we're soon forming up a team. Just waiting for 2 more to get their suits) have bought the same marker so that if someone else has a problem with his, it's most likely we can fix it asap.

Re-lubing, and replacing orings take no more than 3 mins. I kid you not. Unless you have to dissemble the reg, that's different, you rarely have to do that. To answer your second point: jamming was a prevalent issue with slg's. I remember a thread on techpb about some guy having a bad marker, and he sent his slg more than ones back to Proto. I Felt bad for him. http://www.techpb.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=108742 http://forum.moatipaintball.com/index.php?showtopic=168807 The board was poorly designed and issues like this: Now this is just unacceptable from a company. It's not the guys fault, it's happened more than ones. It was likely a production issue, some people get a flawless marker, others get one that can't go thru a hopper without breaking.
-snip- how late did this page load :tinfoil:
For those who haven't started yet, I recommend you start arranging travel methods to ensure you arrive to either the paintballing site at 12:00pm. Or if you are traveling with us from Fenchurch Street Station, make sure you are there by 10:30am at the very latest, because we cannot wait for stragglers.

Me and Bengley will probably take our bikes with us to travel to the paintball site, anyone else is welcome to join us.

I can no longer come paintballing :saddowns:
Amend it for £5, not like it is a lot of money. I'm still going on my bike regardless cause I don't want to pay for a taxi, so if anyone is a cheapass like me bring your bike and we can have a race to the paintball site.

if someone wants to take ben's place and pay him the £7 then that's fine by me.
if someone wants to take ben's place and pay him the £7 then that's fine by me.
this would be OK with me
Just went on a paintballing trip with G-Strogg. Shit was cash.
I'm in. Is it too late to pay and get the money off or whatever? If not it's not a problem, i'll just turn up
the only way you can attend is if you send Bengley £7 as he's dropped out but has already paid.
Well there are a few of us interested as we only live in Romford. Can we not just turn up and join you guys on the day?
Well there are a few of us interested as we only live in Romford. [editline]07:05PM[/editline] But we can book you all in befoehand still I think
i've already booked it, but if you want to join us this might be possible. how many of you are interested? if you can confirm that you can paypal me £7 each then i can contact the guy and add you guys to the booking. currently we have 23 interested and if we get 30, we can all get 300 paintballs free and two free slots (one is already taken for me).

Most probably 3 of us. I'll let you know asap.
