dunno if we're doing anything afterwards since i want to make sure people get their trains home alright.
god dam london! i love paintball ;(
Best post in this thread by far [editline]18th October 2010[/editline] Nope, haven't seen it posted before ever
me and jaanus are going on an adventure
me and jaanus are going on an adventure
yes we are
Should still be going. Bank balance is reading good. Hopefully it stays that way. Touchwood.
Haven't bought myself any tickets, but I don't mind waiting around a bit after our session.
if hezzy is no longer coming (i think he mentioned in another thread) then you can take his place
He said that in GMF then he said he'd booked train tickets in here somewhere so I dunno
I live one stop away so I can probably leave tickets till when I'm leaving
Finally bothered to order tickets. See you guys there. Hopefully.
hezzy isn't coming as he has to work :saddowns: [editline]19th October 2010[/editline] just been on the phone to the taxi company, they seem to have a ferrying system to and from the paintballing site and we can just turn up and they'll do it for us. they've got an eight seater and the journey is about 5-10 minutes there and back. assuming we all arrive there for 11am, we've got an hour to ferry people to the paintballing site from the station.
I'll have a word with my parents to see if they'll have any free time to come pick me up later from london.
Arf, was going to dig with Bengley on friday night and go in with him on saturday, but he's been offered another room for the manchester one, meaning that practically me being able to come hangs in the balance of if he takes it or not - otherwise, it'll be an absolute bitch to get up there from Southampton (and I'll probably have to pull out as a result) Edit: We're still in business
Finally booked tickets, me and dymon will see you guys there
Yeah man, Just got word that I've got a ticket :D so much win. Damn shame I'll have to be sober to get on that train!
Right, my sister says we can get a ticket from Milton Keynes Central into london and it's like a 30-40 minute train so that is pretty awesome. Apparently it goes to London Euston and includes the whole day free tube travel so it may be easier for us to head to Upminster station and wait there for you guys instead of making our way to fenchurch street. My sister is an adult just so you know. (19 this year) Any recommendations on what to bring or wear other than money?
doesn't really matter what you wear, if you want to meet as upminster station we will probably be arriving there at 11am. bear in mind it takes a LOT longer to get the tube to upminster than the train, which is why i've arranged to meet at fenchurch street so we can get the train there.

However clothing that you don't mind getting a little damp or muddy is probably advisable.. they give you coveralls and they aren't waterproof, but it IS a forest after all.
Have a zing. And alright, so basically your general outdoors in wet weather clothes?
yeah sounds about right. don't bring nice shoes as they'll get messed up in the mud.
Have a zing. And alright, so basically your general outdoors in wet weather clothes?
Yes also, don't forget to factor in temperature. When you're playing you'll probably be moving a fair bit and get quite warm, but on the other hand when you are out and between rounds there is a little bit of standing around.
FYI the temperatures over the past few days have been dipping below zero, so definitely bring some warm clothing.
shiiiiiiiiit planned closure of the entire circle line this saturday.
District Line
for those arriving at Euston: Euston Underground Station Take the Northern Line towards Morden and get off at Bank.
