For crying out loud. LEARN TO READ.
We had the camping trip in the lake district. The North. The next camping trip WILL BE IN THE SAME PLACE.
THE NORTH.
NORTH
i.e. not London.
It's been said far too many times, but nobody is listening.
yeah basically what metallics said.
A camping trip isn't a normal meetup like the rest of them, it requires the dedication of an entire week and equipment so seriously limits who can actually come to it.
Then organise your own meetup at stop bitching about us organising a meetup at a place that is convenient for us.
Megabus ftw.
So why are you still posting here?
to argue over the internet.
Also got my own mask :)

This.
Also if I am able to go, who'd want to split money on a taxi from the train station to the actual paint balling place?
Intresting.. I'll ask one of my friends who frequents FP if he wants to come.

[del]Unnecessary. Just use your London travelcard (which you'll need to get to Upminster) for the number 248 bus from Upminster station to the road the paintball is on.[/del]
Ignore this, the blip on the google map is in the wrong place as usual.
This looks awesome, put me down as interested. I live outside Basildon, on the top right of the map.
Oh what's that?? £22 for two advance singles to and from London??? Only two hours on the train??? Northerners, stop acting like Southerners
Amen :clint:

Thanks for getting me the price region.
Hezzy knows his train tickets now that he sells them to old people all day
It'll be nice to actually do something for once.

Also, for those with distance problems, megabus is good and cheap for things like this. It's probably how I'll be travelling (from Sheffield)
Unfortunately, it's an 11 hour trip on mega bus for me. Doesn't seem worth it for one day of paint balling.
If it was in Newcastle or, at a stretch, Hull or something it'd be better suited.
I can try and come, however, I am moving about 1-2 weeks before, so I might not be able to.
If I can come, would there be anybody going through Oxfordshire/Wiltshire to get there?

£2 return, 4 hour trip on the fucking megabus. yes please.

Ugh, buses are crap.
I'm interested if I'm able to go, and if I can go I may even be able to get a few others.
Ugh, buses are crap.
They're cheap and they get you from A to B.
Did I mention that I'm travelling from Bradford, West Yorkshire? I don't care how shit busses are, half way across the country for £2 is fucking brill.
Body Armor? Real men do it with jackets and electric guns which shoot 600 rounds a minute.
Not to mention that they hurt like shit too.

I suppose the rail network below Newcastle suddenly gets much faster as the gravitational pull towards the center of England (London, obviously) begins to act increasingly on the train. That's my explanation anyway. Edinburgh to Newcastle is close to two hours yet the rest of the journey only takes another 2. If you pay about £100.
Or Megabus which is anywhere from a few quid to £15 for a 9/10 hour journey.
Time or cost is an issue depending on whichever. I know a lurker that might be interested though but then it would be a "Facepunch and also some guy Paintballing Trip UK".
We want to prioritize Facepunchers first, I also need to find out if there's a maximum group limit although if there is, I think it'll be pretty large.

I don't sell tickets, I'm station supervisor
Hah, supervisors sell tickets and do a lot of different jobs on the Underground, obviously the private companies aren't having to combine lots of jobs into one title to save money yet :v:
