um hi great and wise january 1st 2015 me, it's late and i'm going to bed soon so i'll keep it short how was 2014? your first year back at your old school must have been interesting right? are you keeping an active social life or did you degrade into social reclusion again? did you enjoy your subjects? perhaps most importantly, DID YOU PASS THE YEAR? bit more personal now, are you still with the girl you started dating at the end of 2012? are you happy? and forgive me for this one, how far have you gone with her?? if in fact you're not seeing her anymore, have you been out with any other girls? how far have you gone with them?? - okay i'll stop now still playing runescape? has the 6th age storyline gotten interesting? still playing roblox? are your shirts and pants selling well? did you finally make your own game in it? have you even had enough time to play videogames with all the studying you're going to be doing?? i hope you're lifting a decent amount more than you were when you typed this post. you gotta get swole man. also i know the new half-life game almost certainly hasn't been announced or even mentioned yet, but hang in there, it'll come eventually. probably. happy new year and good luck in year 12 (that's assuming you passed year 11 of course, let's hope you're not as lazy as i am)

If it doesn't get any better, it's still one more year down. Unless things have changed significantly, yes, I'd still approve of quitting at 40. Anything else is too early (short of extreme circumstances) and you need to hold on. If it does get better, congratulations, I'll enjoy finding out how you managed should things actually turn out good. Of course, you might frequent Facepunch a lot less in that case so you might never read this, but who knows.
