My dad ONLY plays call of duty actually. He bought MW2 on the first day because it had the gun he worked on in it.
My dad never had time for video games. The only one he did like was Rayman 2. And no, I don't mean that raving rabbit shit. I mean the real rayman. That was 10 years ago. I'm suprised when I think about it.
Reminds me how I find the CoD4 music the best in the franchise
Reminds me how I find the CoD4 music the best in the franchise
Because everyones dad plays games in this thread apart from maybe two?... I can see why that remind you about the music.... :v:
My dad got me into Half-Life when I was five. :smug:
My dad played CoD 1 and 2 plus Halo 1 on his old Mac. Now he's into Uncharted, what cool dad! :unsmith:
My dad plays online cribbage so I go on sometimes and he beats me. I just want him to try an FPS sometime, that would be cool.
My dad and me usually plays GTA IV and BC2 together. He is 47. :v: And my granddad plays WoW. :v:
ITT: My dad is better than your dad because he plays X.
I thought i'd start with something simple. He's been using a computer for about 6 years and he still uses the hunt and peck method of typing. I'll work him up to the more complicated games.
this is exactly like my dad
I played a few NASCAR games with my dad on the PS2 when I was 9 I think
My grandfather has a slightly old gaming PC that he uses to play WaW :v:
Aww I would play with my dad if he didn't hate video games [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] And if he still lived with me
Why convert him to codfagius. I got my 52 year old father into STALKER and ARMA 2.
Cod 4 is the best game made by those assfuckers
My dad use to play Doom and Prince of Persia, now he doesn't play games anymore.
My dad played Pac-Man and Pokemon Pinball.
This was both painful and hilarious to watch, you should record him more :v:
My dad hasn't got near a computer in his entire life, and never will. :saddowns:
My dad tried to play portal and he got confused. This was before you got the portal gun, he was just confused at which way was up.
This is nothing. My grandfather (52 years old) plays WoW, CoD and all Valve games. [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] And I am 100% serious.
I can just imagine some of your parents. "I got you noob I am teh leet sniper guys you all suck" Well, that's how everyone starts out anyway... :v:
My dad trows a LAN party every once in a while together with my uncle and a bunch of other guys and we play BF2. :smug:
My dad is 53. He plays CoD:MW 1/2 on PC. He strafes and plays a sniper/assault role. He's pretty damn good actually. He also plays RTS games such as StarCraft, AoE2, Empire Earth and FPS games like Counter-Strike, HL2.
My dad got me into Half Life when it was first released, as well as the original Medal of Honors.
My dad and me used to play the Sonic games on the Megadrive, I must have been four or five years old, he hasn't played for years now. They are very happy memories for me though, perhaps my earliest memories of playing games.
My dad plays a shit ton of Civilization.
My granny (Now 62) introduced me to video games. Demo disks with stuff like Doom and Quake on them and tons of Tomb Raider. My mum used to play a lot of The Sims and Theme Hospital until she became a real nurse. Used to play the occasional Playstation game with my dad.
My dad introduced me to PC gaming with TES II: Daggerfall. I was five.
Dad introduced me too video games. NHL 99, and Quake.
Because everyones dad plays games in this thread apart from maybe two?... I can see why that remind you about the music.... :v:
My Dad doesn't play games. He doesn't even know how to check his email. My Mum on the other hand. I asked for Settlers IV for Christmas one year (I was probably 22, and had no idea what I wanted, so DVDs and games were all I could think of). She ended up playing it non stop for about 2 years. I'm 29 now, and my dad is about 65, so he grew up without games mostly. He was never a "computer geek". I've taken him into stores like "The Tin Soldier" in Sydney (He had to come in with me when I broke my arm, to carry some board games out for me - Tin Soldier is like a games workshop store, but with other stuff not just Citadel minis) and the whole time, he made snarky (hilarious) comments about the kids in the store and the adults too. Imagine if your dad was Charlie Brooker (my dad is also English), and you took him into a really dorky place and asked him to comment. That was what it felt like. I love my dad, but I love my geeky boardgames too.
