My Dad got me into pc gaming and was the one who got me into valve games. If it wasn't for him, I would probably be on a xbox right now playing call of duty.
I wish I had a dad :smith:
Dammit David, now I'm all sad.
My dad used to play videogames a lot- in the Commodore 64 era. He thinks newer ones are stupid.
I used to play Call of Duty: United Offensive, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix and Battlefield 1942/Vietnam with my dad back in the day. Now he has heaps of shift work and I have lots of school work we just can't play games any more. :smith:
My dad used to play every single one of those games. He still plays C&C: Generals and CoD4 from time to time.
My dad used to be into lots of RTS games, but he doesn't play anything anymore. I remember playing Worms: Armageddon, Ignition and Bubsy (One of the 2D ones, it was on PC) with my mother, though. Good times.
I don't have a dad. :smith:
I wish I had a dad :smith:
:smith::respek::smith:
I sometimes play Rainbow Six with my mom, once she unloaded an m249 mag in one terrorist :v: She's 55. [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] my mom is the greatest
My dad plays through half life 2 every once in a while it's his favorite game :v: hes 50 now and always forgets whole parts of the game he is coming with an big ":O" Look to me and always says "I've never been here before!!! THIS IS NEW!! :O :O!11" I always laugh my ass off, he already played through half life 2 about 5 times.
Wish my dad could play games with me. He's always too lazy. On the other hand, my friend's dad is a Steam fanatic and plays TF2 and everything. Maybe it's because he doesn't get wife aggro anymore :P Wish I could go back to playing Gran Turismo 3 with my mom. :smith:
Yeah well uh my dad plays uh... that new check on your email and bank account game
My dad introduced me to Doom 2 :buddy: On the other hand my mum's favorite game is freecell, second only to 'how many ie toolbars can I download in one day'

Perfect, you see,i have thrown alot of that robots into an incenerator.
I wish my dad played video games.
I'm going to go hang out with my dad right now.
Honestly if you make an entire series of him learning to play CoD4 I would watch it all
My father used to play Borderlands with me (Also Left 4 Dead) :v: It was fun. But he sucks at console games, too bad there are many good games that are not on PC.
I once got my father to play Gran Turismo. He's been driving in real life for ~30 years now, and he came up with the excuse that he couldn't accelerate/brake and turn at the same time on GT. :v:
My dad had me playing HL1 and doom as a kid.. lol, I was like 5-6 years old and going to lan parties with him and his friends :P He still games now :D
Like some others here my dad was the one who got me into gaming. He used to play Quake1/2, Unreal and Half-Life back in the days and I used to watch him at first before trying it out. He also used to play a lot of TFC and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Call of Duty1/2 and the Serious Sam games. Newer games he has played are for example Half-Life 2 + Episodes, Doom 3 and Call of Duty 4. He can't do RTS games though, I tried getting him into World in Conflict once and the results were pretty much like OPs video. I remember when I LANed TFC against him once, I went medic and infected him all the time and then hid in the respawn, he got so pissed at me lol.
One time I was playing Halo on the computer, and my dad wanted to play. He shot with the mouse and I moved for him. He actually did pretty well.
I got my dad to play Spec Ops with me on MW2 a while back and got him hooked on it. He's downstairs playing black ops right now. :geno: [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] He was the one that got me into gaming though. He got me HL1 back in 1998 as my first game ever.
My dad used to play ALOT of Xbox original games. He was a master at Hitman 2: Silent Assassin! -EDIT- Seriously, he finished every single level on the average difficulty.
My dad got me into counter-strike when i was 7.
My dad started to play Saints Row 2, we were going for a walk then he randomly grabbed me and threw me in a bush (nothing spikey or anything) and said "30 Respect!" and started laughing as he helped me out.
My dad played through Diablo 2 & Serious Sam with me
Me and my dad used to play a lot of Grand turismo 2 and Crash team racing, now he works all day long, cant get him to play anything :smith:
My dad won't stop bugging me to play Unreal Tournament 1999. When I have more than one friend over and we can't decide whether to build giant castles on Minecraft or build giant castles in GMod, he tries to get us to play that one castle map in UT. Probably due to the fact I'm the only one with a UT 2004+ [editline]28th May 2011[/editline]
Crash team racing
Oh the nostalgia,
My 67 year old grandfather has played through every COD and Medal of honor except the new MOH and Black Ops so far. Not multiplayer though.
Me and my whole family (Me, my sister, my dad, AND my mom) would all play CTR. Me and my dad would play Crash bash. My sister is currently playing through Portal 2 and she says she is addicted. None of us play coop anymore, but I've been bugging my sister to do it since she got Portal 2 on PS3.
