I got my 49 year old father to play Modern Warfare

Good god, it's like trying to watch someone without thumbs use chopsticks.
Back when I was a kid, I used to play my dad on Fifa 97 every night before bed. I'd destory him.
I went to stay with my nan in Scotland during a half term week. He'd take a couple of beers up to my room and practise playing Fifa that entire week, learning stuff I had no idea existed (sprint for example, I was like 6/7). I came back off holiday and he challenged me. He beat me by a ridiculous amount and then "retired" champion. We haven't played since.
Just shows the lengths a father will go to school his son, haha.
Me and my 54-year-old father played through Borderlands, we both had a really good father and son experience :)
Me and my dad used to play Starcraft and Unreal Tournament every day when I was younger.
SHOOT THE TARGETS
SHOOT THE REMAINING TARGETS
too slow
The last games I remember my dad playing are Heart of Darkness and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine on the PC. I loved watching him play those games, I was terrible at games then and could never do them myself so I loved seeing more of the game than I ever could on my own. Weird to think that was like 12 years ago :unsmith:
I actually played Heart of Darkness again for the first time since it came out like last year, felt pretty good finally managing to do it by myself after all that time.

Wow, I actually just felt ridiculously nostalgic over thinking about that.
Cod 4 is the best game made by those assfuckers
Cod 2 was made by IW
My dad loves videogames. He used to play Worldl Of Warcraft but now he plays EVE online. He also plays a ton of halo and call of duty, and is really good at Counterstrike. He used to play all the old RTS's, and DOS games, too.
my dad actually introduced me to video games
My dad introduced me to video games such as Doom, Duke Nukem 3D (first "porn" i ever saw) and later Half-life 1. Been playing video games all my life, and valued every single one of them.
He worked with all sorts of electronics and was always tearing something apart and then putting it together.
I probably started out with a few PC games, then on to the PS1 with games such as Crash Bandicoot and "Crock", and other more serious games such as the Syphon Filter series (kind of an anti-terror thing), the Music 2000 (or MTV 2000 i think?) had me playing around for days, and months with Tekken 3 beating every single thing there ever was in that game.
Still haven't beaten all of Syphon Filter or Crock though, and still have the games lying around.
I had a great dad. Unfortunately he had several mental issues, and put a bullet through his brain.
May he rest in peace :smith:
My dad played Max Payne 1 and 2. he only plays casual games now though :frown:
My dad plays driving games, some FPS and RPG.
He dislikes STALKER, TF2, and SC2(strategy games in general)
:frown:
My friends parents play Age of Empires with him
They can take on 8 expert computers as a team
My Dad got me into gaming when he played MOH:AA and BFV/BF2. My Grandpa has played all of the Battlefield games and gotten to max rank and has played all the CoDs up to 4.
When I got GTA, my dad would tell me to let him beat up hookers. As bad as watching him play it was, it was a nice father son bonding experience.
My dad bought me all my first games. He plays the occasional XBox game, destroys me in trivia games (somehow, he needs me for spelling words most of the time) and is simply a god at Mario platformers. He can find a quicker and more efficient way to do anything, so I can ask him to study into some of a certain game's mechanics and he'll have a personal strategy guide by the end of the week. Although he has never thought of playing the game. He still wouldn't play it, he just doesn't have the reaction time for FPS games.
My dad is awesome.
My Dad introduced me to PC games, I tried to show him how to play an Xbox a while ago, he was horrible.
None of my parents play video games, except my mother's boyfriend, who he is a cool dude
He mostly play platform and race games
When I was about 11 or 12, one of my parents friends who was network admin would convince my parents to have a lan at his place, inclunding his wife. We played Unreal 1 mostly and it was great fun.
My dad plays Halo CE. That is all he plays. Out of the 150+ games I have, he keeps going back to that one.
This makes me wish i had a cool dad like that.
:(
My dad thinks that video games will melt your brain. But watch me play Black Ops MP and Zombies with my friend.
I laughed when he missed the rope.
I played my first game of counter strike when i was 6 and my dad always had to kick me off the computer :frown:
me and my dad used to play quake 3 together all the time
now all he plays is zuma and bejeweled :smith:
did anyone else check their steam at 5:27

I should get my father to play some shooting game and record it
My mom and dad play Rainbow Six Vegas, COD 4, Borderlands, and Vanguard together. They also played the shit outta Fallout 3 and my dad used to make Doom maps.
My dad's 46 and he plays pretty much every PC shooter ranging from every Battlefield game, COD:4, Crysis 2, and a lot of Rainbow Six (mostly the old Raven Shield one). Though my mom doesn't play games, she loves the original Crash Bandicoot.
My dad showed me Tekken and Halo CE when I was like 6 which got me into gaming and computers. I used to play Battlefield 2 online with him a lot.
I'm so jealous of you all right now.
Maybe because my dad abandoned me when I was 4.
