My dad used to play all sorts of games long ago like Turok 2, Soldier of Fortune II, UT03 etc. Later on he just played WoW and TF2 Then WoW, Black Ops and TF2 Then he quit Black Ops and then just played WoW and occasionly TF2 with me Now... IMVU What happened dad We even got two copys of Portal 2 and he never played co op :smith:
My dad rarely plays BIA:HH or CoD:WaW, i tried to get him into Half life but he said "you would think they're great, because you're a half life fan" It has some truth to it, but they are great games, regardless of what the person saying it likes.
it was the best when i teached my dad how to play gta iv i just laughed my ass off all the time because the happy and crazy he seemed to be lol i also remeber he loved cod 2 (it was a great game actually) and he saw some battlefield 3 gameplays (especially the tank ones) and he loved it so we are waiting for it!
Oh god I started laughing so hard when he started the training course.
my dad plays mount and blade fuck all of you
The latest game I managed to play with father is the first CoD, his clock actually stopped in the mid-90s with Doom.
My grandmother played Tomb Raider 1/2/3, she was 70+ years old :colbert:
Jeez I thought I played too much video games, when the most hours I have on a game is 150 on ZPS, seems like your dads are better gamers than me lol. My dad used to play hl1 and ut99 all the time with me when I was younger.
I remember I used to make my dad do the boulder dash parts of Crash Bandicoot on my PS1 because they scared me too much for me to do them
The only reason I got into source games and Valve was because of my father, he got me Half-Life 2. After playing that amazing game, I was so urged to try out Half-Life.
I tried to get my 47 year old mother to play Minecraft. She didn't understand shit about it. I also can't get my dad to play anything, he doesn't even want to play for a few seconds.
My dad plays flight simulator games ranging from FSX to Il-2, he also plays some sniper game that he got at walmart. When he comes over, he plays Operation Arrowhead and a bit of Just Cause 2. His laptop can't run those, so he doesn't buy them. [editline]2nd July 2011[/editline] Next up, I'm going to try Amnesia on him...
When I was a kid, I used to sit on my dad's lap while he played Outlaws, Duke Nukem 3D, Heretic and Doom. I still play those games, even if he doesn't :smith:
When I was about 5, I saw my dad playing doom and asked if I could play. He let me, play, and I was pretty good apparently. My first multiplayer experience was 1v1 Doom LAN with my dad.
I wish I have seen my father...
At least it was CoD4 and not MW2.
My dad played the NES, SNES, N64, Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2. Hopefully after I get my PC shit fixed I can give him my 360 and he can enjoy Red Dead, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, etc.
My Dad plays Half-Life and got me into it when I was five or six. He also plays LA Noire and both Mafia games.
"GOGOGO! HIT THE TARGETS" *shoots and completely misses* hahahahah
I got my dad to play the Command and Conquer series a long time ago. It was difficult to teach him because the Soviets/Allies/Yuri always rushed him in Skirmish (on Easy) and all I heard was "OUR BASE IS UNDERATTACK, UNIT LOST, YOU HAVE LOST" Oh but my 83 year old grandma plays Nazi Zombies with me.
My dad is 63, what should I try and get him to play?
