I think it's you who's overblowing this issue. I personally want to know if game is locked and if it has adjustable fps. If it doesn't, I don't buy it. That's all. It's not the worst thing, it's not the best thing. It's good to have information and options though.

It [B]can[/B] be a health issue, i don't see how you're not getting that. Playing a game with a low frame rate and a narrow FOV occasionally makes me violently ill if i'm playing it for too long, it happens with a boat load of people, it's not something that's hard to grasp. I'm effectively cut off from games that i enjoy like the CoD franchise and other shooters because of it, not even so much frame rate on its own but the extremely narrow FOV. It's inexcusable and a basic feature that has no business being ignored. If a game can include something like a view distance option, why can't it include an FOV slider?

Using a controller gives an advantage in some games, but would you complain about that being an option? Some people literally get motion sick if the FOV is too low.

Why is it not okay? You're not entitled to play it - sure, they should warn of locked FPS or FOV but if it has either it's perfectly okay for them to - I don't get why you feel you're entitled to play every game even ones that make you sick? It's such a small issue it basically doesn't exist, just people who love to complain spurring it on further.
It's like being allergic to a food product, then complaining to the manufacturer they should change the ingredients because you want to eat it but cant.
