I don't see why this is a problem to indie developers. I personally approve of this and I think it helps give a warning to people looking to buy games that have a 30 fps cap.

Google reverse image search isn't always reliable. For instance, why didn't it bring up his FP post? I don't think it'll show up if it was recently posted. Can easily debunk this whole thing by posting the Twitter link though.

its like buying a computer. No one cares about every detail, but every individual part still has every individual spec listed.
Imagine buying a GPU and it tells you it has 4 monitor ports, but doesn't tell you WHAT those monitor ports are. Or you buy a motherboard, and it says it has USB3 support, and 8 ports, but it doesn't list how many are usb3. You buy it, you end up getting a gpu with 4 vga ports and a motherboard with 1 usb3 port, and no way of using a gpu in it

I have no idea who the dude is but I saw it retweeted by Alec Holowka (Who is actually relevant in the games industry) and some other devs and it was relevant so I figured I'd post it here, since it's an opinion that seems to be shared by people in the actual indie community and not just me messing around. Well, since you guys keep focusing on me personally instead of the arguments I bring up I figured I'd just tell you that I actually don't have any opinion at all about this and I only figured I'd represent an opinion I saw a lot of indie developers have on twitter in this thread, to bring that side into the discussion here. Since everyone here is a consumer rather than a developer and there isn't much opposition here otherwise
I personally don't give a shit about this at all, I barely even play games anymore and I haven't made a game in over a year. I thought it'd be obvious that i was acting like a stereotypical indie dev when I said I only make games for people who wear sunglasses and drink lattes but I guess not
