Oh so they use a less deadly round to kill people that makes a lot of sense
.22 rounds are very dangerous, in some cases moreso than even the biggest rounds out there. Why the fuck do you think police almost universally use 9mm or .45s? It's because they plug a hole in a body and STAY THERE. .22 bullets don't do that, they fuckin move around.
but if you get a fucking gigantic bullet, i dunno, like a 44, and you shoot someone in the stomach, it may pass through, BUT THEY'RE MISSING A FUCKING STOMACH
.22 sucks though :(
It tumbles a lot, though.
Some, but it's a rifle round, so it is big enough to catch on something quicker than a tiny .22 is. It's like a bowling ball versus a golf ball.

You don't understand ballistics at all. Holes can be repaired if there's just one hole. If you've got a foreign object tumbling around your body for days, you're done for and you wouldn't even know it. You can pull out a large caliber bullet with relative ease. .22's are very difficult to find and until you do they will bomb around your shit, tearing holes and causing bleeds all over the place.
.22 rounds are more frightening than any high caliber rifle round out there. Big rounds punch right through a body. .22 rounds penetrate the body, TURN THE FUCK AROUND, and then do some FLIPS AND SHIT all the way down your body until it hits a hard spot. If you get gutshot a .22 can end up in your fucking prostate. From what I've been told there's been more than one case of a .22 round tumbling down into the scrotum. A bullet ending up in your nutsack, leaving the skin outside completely intact, trapping the bullet until somebody cuts your balls open to get it out. Come the fuck on. I get physically ill just thinking about it. [editline]08:17PM[/editline] .22 bullets are ballistic gymnasts that fuck with your organs. [editline]08:17PM[/editline] They will tear your shit up
This. Read this. This is fucking true. I'd rather be shot with a .45 ACP than a .22, Shit will fuck you up.
As sonn as i get my fiearms license i'm getting a SW1911 :frogc00l:
you'll also need a license to ROCK:drum:
I don't go to 4Chan and I actually own a .22 pistol.
Then you're biased to .22?
As sonn as i get my fiearms license i'm getting a SW1911 :frogc00l:
I'd get a Rock Island Armory one, myself.
This. Read this. This is fucking true. I'd rather be shot with a .45 ACP than a .22, Shit will fuck you up.
I'd rather NOT GET SHOT.
Then you're biased to .22?
I'm biased to .357 THE 357 BULLET IS MADE OF CARBO HYDRATE ALUMINUM SUPER-AIDS WHICH PULLS A FUCKING TAILSPIN INSIDE YO GUTS AND BREAKDANCES WITH YOUR LIVER CAUSING YOU TO CONTRACT INTERNAL HERPES, AIDS, HEPATITIS, AND SYPHILIS THIS IS WHY the .357 is the best
5.56mm NATO IS .223. I'm talking about the bullet itself, not the cartridge.
No it isn't. They're similar but they aren't the same and they do not act the same. Furthermore, the mere fact that it's packed into a rifle cartridge alone changes its behavior upon penetration. .22 pistol rounds tumble so much in part due to the fact that there is relatively little force behind them. [editline]08:34PM[/editline]
Then you're biased to .22?
I own a .357 and a 9mm as well. I just know the .22 scares me more than the other two. The .22 is a liar bullet.

There is more punch-though power in a .223, but it still tumbles a bit.
5.56 mm is the same as .223 inches.
5.56 mm is the same as .223 inches.
There's likely a cartridge powder difference, I think he might be saying.
5.56 mm is the same as .223 inches.
They are different rounds. Relative size is similar but their behaviors, shapes and packings are different. That's like saying a .357 magnum is the same as a .357 Sig when the two are radically different.
