No, I'm "skinny", and yet I'm at a perfectly healthy weight.
Being underweight isn't healthy. Sorry.
"Fat people in America aren't accepted. Just see the Hollywood red carpet!"
Yes, fat people in America are not accepted. The Hollywood red carpet lacks obese characters. If there are any, they are characters due only to their obesity.
And actually, you're wrong. There have been plenty of fat actors.
Yes, fat actors, not actors that are fat. And they are practically always male. One thing you'll see is that all the camera's flock around the thin people. This is different from say, the UK, where many fat people are huge celebrities, even if their entire appeal doesn't rest on fat shtick. And I still don't see anything related to what you are talking about.
Being underweight isn't healthy. Sorry.
I'm not underweight
Yes, fat actors, not actors that are fat.
What's the fucking difference?
I'm not underweight
You just said you were. Don't contradict yourself like that if you want an argument.
You just said you were. Don't contradict yourself like that if you want an argument.
No I didn't, I said I was skinny. 120lbs and 170cm is skinny, but it isn't underweight.
Their weight is pushing them forward when they run:dance:
No I didn't, I said I was skinny. 120lbs and 170cm is skinny, but it isn't underweight.
5'6 and 120lbs is still small. I'm not fat either, 185 and 6'1. Not unhealthy, nor fat. How does this get a dumb?
Being underweight isn't healthy. Sorry.
Being underweight is much more healthy. The dangers of being underweight is a weak immune system or low energy, which is completely reversible. Being overweight however has huge health risks that are not always reversible. You can't recover the lost heart cells after a stroke, or your pancreas after developing diabetes.
[Edit]
The fuck is up with his right foot?
What's the fucking difference?
I don't get the hostility. A fat actor is an actor like Chris Farley. His humour relies completely on the fact that he is fat. An actor who happens to be fat is Dawn French, who does not do comedy relying on her obesity. [editline]10:36PM[/editline]
Then good thing I'm neither.
I'm underweight because of my fast metabolism. I eat ridiculous amounts of food, but I constantly get sick and piss off tired.
Being underweight is much more healthy. The dangers of being underweight is a weak immune system or low energy, which is completely reversible.
No, the danger of being underweight is malnourishment which can result in death, a very irreversible condition.
Being underweight is much more healthy. The dangers of being underweight is a weak immune system or low energy, which is completely reversible. Being overweight however has huge health risks that are not always reversible. You can't recover the lost heart cells after a stroke, or your pancreas after developing diabetes.
You are very wrong. I know many underweight people and they are allways very sick and I know many overweight people and they are allways in better condition than than that of the underweight.
I'm underweight because of my fast metabolism. I eat ridiculous amounts of food, but I constantly get sick and piss off tired.
Ever think that maybe you have a medical condition? You're not supposed to "constantly get sick and piss off tired".
OP is idiotic. That kid in the picture is skinny, and is doing an atempt for Most Shirts ever worn at once. Fucking christ. Also, the true healthy point isn't stick skinny either, it's some where after that. Why people also think they have the right to demand how other people live is ridiculously barbaric. Being fat isn't bad, I'd say being stupid is worse.
I know this doesn't apply to the US, but fat people, like smokers, put a financial strain on the public health system with their chronic health problems. Taxpayers at a healthy weight are more or less subsidizing the gluttony of others.
No, the danger of being underweight is malnourishment which can result in death, a very irreversible condition.
Malnourishment is something completely separate from being underweight. Malnourished people are not necessarily underweight, and underweight people are not necessarily malnourished.
Malnourishment is something completely separate from being underweight. Malnourished people are not necessarily underweight, and underweight people are not necessarily malnourished.
You will never find an overweight person suffering from malnourishment.
You are very wrong. I know many underweight people and they are allways very sick and I know many overweight people and they are allways in better condition than than that of the underweight.
It's not black and white. But in terms of long term effects, being underweight is less unhealthy than being overweight. Of course the responsible thing to do is be of normal weight.
You will never find an overweight person suffering from malnourishment.
You will never find leftovers either
You will never find an overweight person suffering from malnourishment.
If a person eats only fatty foods they'd be malnourished. McDonalds is not a vitamin packed food.
I know this doesn't apply to the US, but fat people, like smokers, put a financial strain on the public health system with their chronic health problems. Taxpayers at a healthy weight are more or less subsidizing the gluttony of others.
Not really. And that's because the US has a fucking shit system. Either way, they pay more than you do.
It's not black and white. But in terms of long term effects, being underweight is less unhealthy than being overweight.
Says the guy who's constantly sick. I haven't been sick in years.
So do we outlaw fatness just like smoking? Don't turn this into another freedom argument, because you don't have any footing in that argument.

Don't turn this into another freedom argument, because you don't have any footing in that argument.
We don't need a nanny state.
You could also argue that the massive amount of taxes on something like cigarettes helps the economy. [editline]12:41AM[/editline] We don't need a nanny state.
I agree. We really don't.
I'm skinny because I have a fast metabolism and I haven't gotten any type of sickness in about a year. And I mean ANY
Ever think that maybe you have a medical condition? You're not supposed to "constantly get sick and piss off tired".
I have a string of heart diseases.
If a person eats only fatty foods they'd be malnourished. McDonalds is not a vitamin packed food.
Look, you're underweight so you're going to defend that. I'm overweight so I'm going to defend this. We won't get anywhere. [editline]12:42AM[/editline]
I have a string of heart diseases.
You don't sound too healthy then.
Not really. And that's because the US has a fucking shit system. Either way, they pay more than you do.
How do you figure?
You could also argue that the massive amount of taxes on something like cigarettes helps the economy. .
Cigarettes weren't always so heavily taxed, it was only instituted BECAUSE of the massive numbers of smokers with health problems requiring hospitalization. There's no "fat tax" to offset the health costs associated with obesity.
