I've tried to put a thin nozzle on the end of a can of chain lube, Looked down the center of it to see why it wasn't fitting and sprayed myself in the eye. I'm one dumb corgi.
Who the fuck sits around filming like an idiot when a dog just put spray paint all over your kitchen. Better yet, who the fuck keeps black spray paint under a sink?
they were filming for a TV show and the camera man didn't "sit around filming like an idiot," he put the camera down. And i mean look at the fucking pool of spray paint. it pools DIRECTLY under the oven, seeping into the bottom of it. Look at this graph: (this is a picture of the inside of a stove, but its a similar setup for an oven) that open flame is the pilot light located in an oven. when FLAMMABLE SPRAYPAINT pools under an OVEN, where there is an OPEN FLAME, shit tends to go FWOOSH. plus they got the fucking fire department to come to the place in a fire truck. i dont think a show called "pet sense" has the budget to do something like that.
He doesen't have to stand there like an idiot for five minutes, even just briefly capturing the fire on film would have been enough.
Well, I don't know what video you saw, but he kind of did do that. He definitely got a few frames of it, maybe even a couple seconds of it. Which I know you've been in intense situations before in your life, so you can surely agree with me that even that is actually quite a long time to hesitate before springing to action.

i can see how it can be fake, but if they had filmed it, it would've been even more suspicious to have been fake because no one would fucking stand there and film the shit. he most likely even forgot he was holding a camera the instant the explosion happened and just set whatever he had in his hand downs to help put it out
Why didn't the camera man take some footage of the results of the fire? Why didn't he film the firemen?
both of these things are shown in the video two posts below the OP.
He doesen't really film the fire at all, only the resulting glow of it. I don't know, it all just seems so sketchy. Why didn't the camera man take some footage of the results of the fire? Why didn't he film the firemen?
He did all of the above, watch the follow up video. I can understand your skepticism, you should always be skeptical of any kind of wild thing like this. But I mean the evidence you're asking for is there, it's in the other video. You just gotta dig a little deeper sometimes to know whether or not something's true. Don't just completely dismiss stuff right off hand, you never know where you might be limiting yourself in your life in general by doing that.
I always thought corgis were pretty cute dogs. But I wonder if they are high maintenance or unintelligent.
It definitely seems a bit more real after watching the explanation video, although... it actually exploded? I mean, if the spray paint is flammable and just caught on fire that would be one thing, but I didn't think spray paint could cause an explosion like that...
I always thought Corgi's were pretty cute dogs. But I wonder if they are high maintenance or unintelligent.
corgis kick ass at everything
I can't understand why the dog attacks cleaning supplies. Can't even think of an off the wall thought process the dog would be going through.
That's probably because you're not a dog. :3

I mean, if the spray paint is flammable and just caught on fire that would be one thing, but I didn't think spray paint could cause an explosion like that...
Yeah it's really insane. Usually when they explode it's a lot more violent, like when you just throw a full can into a fire, but in this case, the can was punctured before the contents were ignited. This created a situation where the flammable gases basically bubbled into a kind of blob that hung pretty much right beside the stove, so yeah, it's kind of like what happens when you ignite gas fumes. Or if your teacher in high school ever did the hydrogen balloon demonstration for the class where you just get it slightly near fire and the whole gas bubble goes up at once. It probably would have been okay had they not been inside of a small enclosed apartment. I don't know if you could re-create something like this outdoors, the cloud would probably dissipate faster.
I'm pretty sure paint isn't flammable. The aerosol, like in almost every can, is in fact very flammable.
So fake.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a "fire", it was more of a little poof of flames caused by the gas leaking out of the broken spray can, and then the camera guy over exaggerated the situation due to mild shock and just went to her and said that it was a fire, when the actual flame was long gone.
The fire kind of looked after effects-y. And I'm not sure why someone would fake something like this other than for publicity.
And if they were that desperate I don't think anyone would go as far as to spray their dog in the mouth with spray paint
